I have a tempered excitement for the Retro-Action Ghostbusters. I would be more excited if I knew Mattel was going to have a corrected body by the time these hit shelves. I would also like a cartoon accurate proton pack (or at least the neutrona wand). I always preferred the look of the RGB gun to the movie wand. I think I actually learned about the first movie after seeing the cartoon. That's pretty screwy, huh?

If they made them in the Action League/Imaginext scale we'd definitely get an Ecto-1 that way.

there is no way i would be able to say no to these. an in scale stay puft would be soooo much more possible. a firehouse too.

hopefully more in the superhero squad quality :D , not so much the action league quality. :(

I'm actually now just getting into Ghostbusters Minimates and I'm seeing that it is incredibly hard to easily just get the 4 Ghostbusters...or am I missing something?

I guess now it is. But when the line started it wasn't. I would have two full sets of the guys from the first movie if I had gotten the second 4-pack (still need to). Now they're into obscure variations to keep people buying the same characters with new ghosts. But if you want all four, get the two 4-packs on ebay. I believe Thinkgeek.com has the second one (Gozer, Ray, Winston and Stay Puft) on clearance for $15.

I've bee really looking for one after the first one I found.

I wanted a second to repaint the top gear on the roof. I just wanted a seconded because if I screw up it won't matter I have an orginal one.

Still haven't found another one yet.

But to be honest if I never find another it won't bother to much I have one so everything is good!

Sigh. I looked for those today to no avail. To the people who've found them: where are they usually? Just tossed in among the other Hotwheels cars?

I did find the Hotwheels Tumbler and Animated Series Batmobile cars, which I eagerly bought. They're really cool. :D

The thing that I find odd/lame about that one is that it has a stupid bullet riddled battle damage sticker on the side of it. I'm glad I got the plain version from a few years back.

On topic: Yeah, I'm still hunting for the Ecto-1.

Also, was it officially stated that the Retro Action GBs would be sold at TRU or is that just a rumor I heard? If true, any idea what the first wave is/will be?

i have also heard the same that they will be at TRU, but have seen nothing official to confirm it.

and we have no clue who is in the first wave, if in-fact these will come out at retail, in waves.
