GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 3 Synopsis
In Marvel Studios “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Yep, they're ALL going to die at the end of this, mark my words.
And no, my prediction is not a spoiler.

I figure that Rocket, Groot and probably Mantis will survive... But Starlord, Drax, Nebula and probably Gamora are all toast, in my estimation.

My guess - Drax will not survive. Kraglin could be fodder. Rocket maybe gets de-evolved back to his original state, at his own request. Quill and Nebula retire happily ever after. Groot, Manits, Nebula, and Cosmo remain on the team, now led by Starhawk and including Adam Warlock.

New trailer looks dope. I have no guesses. I’m also guarded because I had very high hopes for Vol 2 and it wasn’t my favorite. (It was still better than T:L&T and DrSatMoM.)

I can't explain how hard I marked out at them in the outfits from the Annihilation comic storyline. Holy crap! I don't buy MCU figures, but I will buy these the second they come out!
You know there will be a ton of comedy, but obviously some tear jerking times as well.

I just hope they have a story explaining why Gamora is missing when she was in Endgame. If this is before Endgame then why wasn't Adam involved? If it's after, then why is no one on the team acknowledging Endgame?
I know I'll probably still enjoy the hell out of this as a stand alone story, these are easily some of the best movies in the MCU. But as a tie in to over arching story I need valid answers.

I thought the Gamora that was from the Thanos timeline was MIA after Tony did the reverse-snap, and that they explicitly had Starlord scanning the universe to find her in the scene where Thor joins them at the very end.
It is kind of a surprise to me she is featured so much in the trailer and poster to be honest.

Exactly right. 100ptsofarticulation's post confused me, but it looks like he misremembered that part.

Yes that's what happened. She took off after Tony died and Starlord was scanning for her, then kinda hid it when Thor came in. The Holiday Special, they still haven't found her, and in this they do. And they gotta feature her though, she's one of the original GOTG... even if she isn't, heh.fac wrote: ↑Fri Dec 02, 2022 2:36 amI thought the Gamora that was from the Thanos timeline was MIA after Tony did the reverse-snap, and that they explicitly had Starlord scanning the universe to find her in the scene where Thor joins them at the very end.
