Netflix' Pacific Rim: the Black

So this 7ep cartoon hit over the weekend and I watched it all Saturday. It appears to be the same people that did the prior Godzilla cartoons.

While PacRim is an homage to ye olde Japanese Kaiju movies and such the tropes just come off tired and worn-thin from lesser creators than Guillermo, imho.

There are some interesting developments in the PacRim lore regarding the tactics of the PreCursors and such but the plot-writing and voice acting isn't anything very thrilling to me, but YMMV. Lots of keen Kaiju and Jaeger designs that would look great in toy form, esp the Kaiju
