Just got two of the three trades for the latest Squadron-related “Heroes Reborn” event. Looking forward to seeing what this was all about, especially since it seems the figures they’re making here are based on this version.

I picked up the 2 pack today at a GameStop in Georgia. It’s a much better set in hand than I was expecting. Hyperion’s head sculpt is fantastic.

How is everyone getting Dr. Spectrum and Hyperion before me? I pre-ordered it and it says it's not released until May 1st.
Please tell me they made it so Dr. Spectrum can actually tightly hold his crystal?

Really looking forward to these and hopefully getting more Squadron members sooner rather than later. I needs me some Whizzer.
Xorr, these trickle out at very different rates depending on the seller- I've taken to pre-ordering at three online stores and canceling two after the first one is fulfilled.

One little nit pick. Hyperion’s alt hands are both gripping hands. On the packaging it shows one gripping and one open action hand. Doing some research, the promotional pics show the grip hands. I would have preferred the open hand, but I’m still largely impressed.
And GameStop (and Target) are notorious for sending stock to stores before fulfilling preorders. Hopefully you’ll get your set soon.

Got the set from Gamestop today. Talk about 2 totally different figures...
Hyperion would be a 10/10 if he had pinless arms and a extra maskless head. Having said that, his head sculpt is frikken' superb! And his body is absolutely perfect for him. He looks perfect from head to toe. 8.5/10
Doctor Spectrum however... I am SO over the old bucky cap body. Burn that !@#$ mold with magma! It looks so damn dated now, because it is. Honestly, the only good thing about him is the prism. Ok, that is a bit harsh. The paint-work is well done, with clean lines. I just hate the body it on so much... 3/10.

I just realized that anyone wanting to make a Doc Samson, Hyperions upper body is almost perfect for it. A short sleeve red upper body. His waist cover can easily be cut off. The only catch would be filling in the two holes from the discs and matching the red paint.

Hasbro almost always stocks last - they do this on purpose so that other retailers don't view them as direct competition and continue to buy from them.

So what would be the best place to pre-order? Who gets them earliest?

Any verdict from anyone on how well Dr. Spectrum can hold his prism? I'm hoping it wasn't done sloppy like Psycho-Man's device where you practically have to glue it to his hand for him to hang onto it.
