I hope they're ready to move on to a new pinless suited body for The Rose

Tarantula is one of my top 5 wanted Spiderman figures . Still waiting on Calypso, Vermin, Carrion and Scarecrow.
Tarantula has been a long time coming.
My only need from this forthcoming wave.

Spider-Man (Ben Reilly)
Spider-Woman
Spider-Man (Miles New Suit)
Elektra Daredevil
The Rose
Tarantula
Chasm

Rumored for August.
What other Spider suit did Ben Reilly have other than the one released last year?

I don't think there's anything here for me.

Ben's had a few identity and costumes changes since his revival, all of those (aside from the mens suit & Anubis mask he wore as the Jackal) are below. Top left is his Spider-Man costume, top right is his most recent identity/costume, Chasm:

After being resurrected but before being SM, he was once again the Scarlet Spider (this time in Las Vegas, and with Deadpool's personality grafted on, essentially):

Spidercide would be awesome, not sure he'd need to be a BaF though.

Watch they'll use the bucky cap body for Tarantula.

It hasn't been officially retired yet. I bet we'll see it again in 2023.

Honestly, I don't think it should be, since the Vulcan body is not a good replacement for it; it's sort of its own thing.

I don't want to copy and paste the same post I've made like four times here, but I kind of agree.

It definitely needs to be retired, but they need an adequate replacement. The problem is the Bucky Cap body was used for big characters like Hawkeye and lithe characters like Daredevil. The Hawkeyes of the world belong on the Vulcan body. The Daredevils of the world need a smaller alternative.

We put up with literally a decade of Bucky Cap. Hasbro can pony up for an appropriate replacement.

That's been the default costume in the comics for a little while now. It was designed by a friend of Miles and, yes, it has a secondary lower mask over his main mask.

I wouldn't mind if they did an actual Bucky Cap replacement, yeah, or even updated it with the appropriate pinless features, as well as new feet where needed (not ideal, I know). I do like that Vulcan is a nice mid-size between the Bucky Cap and Grim Reaper base bodies, but yeah, it's too big for characters that otherwise would have went on a Bucky Cap body.

If I had to guess, I'd say the impetus behind this costume was Miles' “clothes on top of costume” look that was all over the marketing for Into the Spiderverse (and which we even got a figure of). “Mixing regular clothes with super hero costume looks cool” —> “what if we blended/integrated the two types of garments?” —> results: this costume.

The half mask built into the hoodie is something you see sometimes in streetwear, e.g.:

Personally, I can't say I'm wild about this particular costume. It does, however, do a good job setting Miles apart from Pete, I'll give it that.

The Spider-Verse movie is 100 percent why they went with the secondary clothing over the new suit. Which makes me wonder how Hasbro will handle the neck articulation. Two heads, one with the high collar and another without?
