Is that definitely about Quantumania?
It's nice they have a social media presence, I guess, but the whole saying nothing really thing doesn't do a lot for me.

It's really not a big deal. If it's not the wave that'll still be along eventually.

Nah, not a big deal, and I'm fine being patient. Just not excited for empty posts.
At the same time, I'm not trying to say anything negative to/about you for sharing it, and I'm sorry if that's how it came across. It's entirely about the "wait and see", "maybe we'll show something you want in a month!" nonsense. I know the wave is coming, I don't even mind waiting two more years for a Kang. Just can do without the blueballs.

From discussions in other threads, it’s likely Blob, the X-Men 5-pack, X-Men 3-packs, and Puff Adder wave all about to hit.

Then MCU collectors get the same onslaught in July apparently.

It's better than DC Multiverse though where there are like 15-20 figures all supposed to be released during the first 2 weeks of March after very little since November. That was fine with me though because I got hammered with Legends orders all hitting at once in November and December, so I'm glad McFarlane basically took a couple of months off.
Re: Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania wave (2023)
Yep, I received my Blob and X-Men Villains 5-pack both from BBTS yesterday, just a few days after receiving the full X-Men retro wave and the re-issued comic Moon Knight. The X-Men 3-packs and Outback Rogue will likely hit within the next 2 weeks. I think the Avengers Puff Adder wave might be a few more weeks out yet, though. It does seem that all of the MCU figures are likely to hit all within a span of a couple of months.september_death wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 6:00 pmFrom discussions in other threads, it’s likely Blob, the X-Men 5-pack, X-Men 3-packs, and Puff Adder wave all about to hit.

Hasbro is apparently not doing pre-orders with Black Series anymore. Maybe they'll start doing that with Legends as well.

That would be very annoying. I find the preorder system gives me so much more peace of mind. Takes most of the stress out of this hobby.

But join in on the Black Series discussion. I know preorders aren't for everyone but some of us reeeeeeally like it.
Re: Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania wave (2023)
Same here. I REALLY prefer this system. Taking away preorders will definitely push me to buy a lot less, and definitely will solidify my plan to hold off on all these figures until Novembers.

Re: Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania wave (2023)
There isn’t even little kid merchandise available for this movie yet, the kinds of role play and low PoA stuff that we collectors would skip. And it opens in two weeks. Is it really being kept a secret? Is it all to avoid spoilers?
I’m in the camp that preorders should continue to be available. Not allowing preorders is not a solution to “too many preorders too far out from ETA.” Just don’t space the PO so far from the release!

In my area, I've never seen all the figures I've bought on the actual pegs, without even mentioning store exclusives. Well, Walmart exclusives. So I kinda HAVE to preorder, and I was really content with that system no matter how many months it took them to ship. My days of wasting gas to hit up every target in the area several times a month are WAAAAAAY behind me. I get some collectors have great luck in stores, or the thrill of the hunt is the whole point for some, but I'm definitely one who will drastically cut down if ordering online becomes less fruitful.

Agreed. I buy 90%+ of my figures via pre-order. If I didn't then I would never find most of the figures that I want. Honestly the only thing I ever buy from brick and mortar stores are clearance product - but I also buy more of that online also. I have a Walmart, Target, Gamestop, Walgreens and others in the town that I live in but I only get out to visit them once a week and it's never in time to catch anything I want on the pegs.

Same here. I very rarely see the figures I want in person. And I do check at Target frequently. My collection would be a quarter the size if not for online shopping.Ru_1977 wrote:In my area, I've never seen all the figures I've bought on the actual pegs, without even mentioning store exclusives.
