I know there’s some perspective tricks happening, but I like Random’s relative size on those pics GP Martin posted. That was my one big criticism of the set. Technically he could be any size and be accurate since he was a shapeshifter and did fluctuate, but I definitely prefer him larger like his debut in X-Factor.

Plastic and joint quality on my 5pk was solid. No QC issues here. Really wasn't disappointed with the set in any remarkable way. I guess my expectations were low, or I didn't have much demand for the characters. But I was generally pleased with it.

Blob and Forge/Storm/Jubilee should arrive via Pulse tomorrow.

Vertigo has been one of my most-wanted for a long time and she definitely needs some power effects. Even Havok's new wrist ones cast in green could maybe have worked - oh, but they would have fallen off her wrists. Too bad Hasbro couldn't spring for a new piece for $125 retail.

I really like her face but that hair! Just doesn't work. Has anyone swapped the Hydra hair with the Vertigo face? I like the smile. I wonder if Siryn's hair might work...

The only issue I have with Vertigo is that her hair should have a bit of white in it, but she's been drawn so many different ways, I really don't get the issue, personally.

Pretty Boy is *fantastic*; he's absolutely the stand-out in a solid set, for me.
The only figure I'm meh on is Random, who I just don't really care about, anyway.

You are right. Might be my set. When I opened them, both Pretty Boy and Zero had warped legs. And Stryfe’s helmet spikes were bent in different directions.

Guess I’m just frustrated because these are some of my favorite X-Men characters (even though they are classified as “side” characters) and the set is pretty expensive.

Just wish Hasbro gave them a little more love.

How the f*** is Random "not big enough"!? That's as big as I'd want him...I'd hate him if he were any bigger...

All these complaints about his height with no pictures had me thinking he was on the Vulcan buck....

He’s bigger than average but no Blob. I think it’s an unintentional issue with perspective in my photos that makes it hard to see his height relative to other figures. I’m definitely no toy photographer!

The only complaint I have is that his legs are way too scrawny. Beyond that, to me, he looks fine.

My brain shut down and prevented me from reading the rest of that comment because I knew it wasn't true.

Got my set, and it is a solid set.

Stryfe has the stupidest helmet ever, but they nailed it. He looks excellent.

Zero is such a simple figure, but I like him much more than I was expecting.

Vertigo needs white highlights in her hair, and effects would be nice, but her outfit looks perfect.

Random looks pretty good, but his head sits too low. Just resting it on the ball joint make him look better.

Pretty Boy is excellent. I kinda with his face was "prettier", but at the same time, I like the fact that he's not so pretty, but his arrogant ego makes him think he is.

Random is perfect. I would absolutely hate him if he were any bigger (now Sabretooth...there's a reason I use the Select in my Legends display).

Well, not perfect. He needs the ability to have two regular arms or two gun arms. Or any combination. Permanently stuck like that sucks.

But size-wise, I couldn't be happier.

He should NOT be "Blob-sized," let alone "Strong Guy-sized" like I've seen some idiots whining about.

Um, that's not how it works.

You bitch about the toys, begrudgingly buy the toys, say you've bought the toys after slamming them since revealed, and never state whether or not you like the end result.

At no point do you compliment that greedy corporation!!!!!!
