Could this be the deluxe Doc Ock? I don't know if the 2023 leak had any store exclusives though.100ptsofarticulation wrote: ↑Thu Dec 08, 2022 2:46 amSo marvelous news is reporting that there's a target listing for something deluxe Spider-Man related. Also it is a target exclusive and it's $60.

If it is the deluxe ock I would think it'd be a 3 pack at that price.
Re: Future MCU Spiderman/ No Way Home Legends Speculation and Discussion
I think the leaks don't normally include store exclusives.Ru_1977 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 08, 2022 3:53 amCould this be the deluxe Doc Ock? I hope you're right, but I probably don't know how to judge prices anymore. $60 for one figure with long, articulated tentacles? I mean, I'm the idiot who paid $30 for a "deluxe" Boba Fett figure, so why not, heh. I was prepared for Ock to cost $50 though, but hoping I was over-saving for it.100ptsofarticulation wrote: ↑Thu Dec 08, 2022 4:37 amI think the leaks don't normally include store exclusives.Ru_1977 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 08, 2022 3:53 amCould this be the deluxe Doc Ock? Didn't we hear about a Legends Peni Parker and SP//dr at some point? Can't remember if that's the case or where it came from, i.e. Hasbro or from a leak. But if we did hear about that in the pipeline I'd think that's what this is.
I'm not sure how big that robot was in the movie, but from the pic below it looks vaguely the size of an oversized human that we usually get as a BAF. I could see this being $55 to $60 since it'd have to be a unique sculpt that they wouldn't get much re-use out of.

That's definitely a real possibility. Ock seems ruled out at this point

Re: Future MCU Spiderman/ No Way Home Legends Speculation and Discussion
Since we know we're getting Ock somehow, somewhere, I'd be really stoked if it was Peni and Sp//dr. She's the only omission from ITS (hero-wise, anyway), and could really pop on the shelf. A local secondhand shop has the original ITS Peni and Sp//dr figure that Hasbro made; I've had my eye on it the past few visits, but it looks a little off to me. I'd love a more screen-accurate, articulated one. My biggest question would be how they'd tackle Peni if it was a Deluxe release, though. Would she be a little unarticulated mini-figure, or would they include her at all?

Figuarts is cancelling their Andrew figure and re-soliciting it without the unmasked head sculpt.... not giving me much hope for ML unmasked portraits for the three Spideys

For what it's worth, Rektangular's leaked 2023 legends list, which I believe has so far proven to be right, has the three of them in the December wave as unmasked.hunnipot85 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 7:38 pmFiguarts is cancelling their Andrew figure and re-soliciting it without the unmasked head sculpt.... not giving me much hope for ML unmasked portraits for the three Spideys![]()

The unmasked part is inferred, but not explicit.

Right on. I'm sorry for those wanting actor portraits, and I get that... but I really just want the ASM figure, masked, and didn't want to spend $90 and hassle with ebay over the other two. So I'm hoping for a masked head to at least be included.

That would be a bummer. I feel like displaying them all masked will just look like 3 different Spidey suits of the same Peter. Or they'd blend in if you're someone who displays all the spidey suits (Homecoming, homemade, Iron Spider, night monkey, inside out suit, etc) Plus the actors are the reasons those characters were so popular in NWH, it's the nostalgia factor and seeing them unmasked on the shelf would keep that nostalgia trigger going imo.

I agree it makes a ton of sense to have unmasked heads with them. I'm the only one who REALLY looks at my figures anyway, and I'll know which is which with the masks at least. Well, my son too.
But the ASM2 mask is possibly my favorite on screen Spiderman mask so I really want that one.

Re: Future MCU Spiderman/ No Way Home Legends Speculation and Discussion
I know we've talked about this before but I would love to know what the process between Hasbro, Disney, and Sony looks like when trying to get actor likeness. It's gotta be interesting at the very least. We've only gotten Peter, MJ, JJJ, and Ned. Holland gets a pass because he's the star. I'm sure Disney/Hasbro did what needed to be done on him. Zendaya has had plenty of likenesses made of her between dolls from her days on Disney Channel to Dune, to fortnite. So maybe she comes ready to have figures made regardless of a studio she's with. Ned isn't a huge actor (I can't even remember his name... Jacob?) So maybe he wasn't hard to peg down the likeness rights too. Then you have Michael Keaton, Jake Gyllenhaal, Morisa Tomei, Jamie Fox, etc. Vulture didn't even get an unmasked head for the Deluxe re-release. Mysterio with no unmasked head is fine because you gotta display the fishbowl! BUT I doubt we ever see him in his CGI suit or an unmasked head at all. Aunt May you could argue is simply because Hasbro doesn't think she will sell, they haven't even made a comic version. I'd freaking buy her! I worry that Electro may become an issue due to this. I also worry about what this means for future characters we hope to have from the Spidey films who are portrayed maskless like Black Cat or Spider-Woman,(they actually wear masks haha but enough to cover likeness?) Norman, Harry etc. So no I'm not going to be surprised if these unmasked heads never get released. But I am going to hope that doesn't become the case. That ol' bully Maguire giving them hell over his pay cut haha. That's why they upped the price and got rid of plastic! Ah ha! It alp makes sense now. I'm done. Lol

For sure! I respect that. I think you have a nice appreciation for the suits attached to these characters. I've seen you mention a few Iron Man and Cap suits before and for as big of a fan as I am I usually have no idea and have to Google the suit haha. So that makes sense. Hopefully we'll given both options.Ru_1977 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 10:20 pmI agree it makes a ton of sense to have unmasked heads with them.
