A million percent YES. Completing the classic Guardians line up has now become super important to me in my Legends collecting outlook. With Yondu on the way we need the remainder of the team. Starhawk can be mostly reuse. Martinex is tricky but if they do it right there is some re-use potential (Iceman for sure, half of Equinox). Charlie may be the toughest to do sine to do him right there is much less re-use poetential. He is NOT supposed to be the size of our current Juggernaut figures - but if they have to fudge the size a little to get him done I guess beggars can't be choosers.
Charlie is must have for me - and I agree that the costume shown in the 3rd and 4th pics is the one I'd prefer. That was the outfit in the stories I first encountered the Guardians and is how I remember him, so that's what I'd like in my display.

Dragon Man though is such an easy yes. Make him about 10” high and bulky, slap on some jointed wings and I’m all over it. Definitely needs a bespoke, ultra textured sculpt with a huge domed head. This seems like one that both old school and new school buyers would lap up.
Charlie 27 is another solid yes. Would absolutely need to be a bespoke sculpt though - normal height but super bulky. Take a regular muscular six footer and stretch him sideways. Putting him on a Hulk body just ain’t going to cut it. For this reason, I doubt we’ll ever get him. I’d go either classic yellow with the bucket helmet, or bare chested with the cross straps. But a combo of those would be cool too.

Yeah, this. These guys wouldn’t crack my top 100 list, but I can’t be flying the flag for obscure nutjob villains and pass up a set like this. Not that they’re ever, ever getting made.H-bird wrote:Look, if Marvel Legends is putting out a full set of the Death-Throws I’m obviously buying it because what a world that would be! Alas, in boring old reality, it’s probably a stretch that we’d even get Oddball.

I'm in for a classic Charlie-27! i need him and the Korvac Saga era team to go on my Avengers shelf.
No need for an MCU version, to be honest.

I want the whole 90's team, everyone including Talon, Rita de Mara Yellowjacket and Vance in his symbiote costume, so absolutely yes to Charlie -27 with the preferred look being the black and red spike outfit from that era.

Re: One a Day - Day 477: Charlie-27 (comic & MCU)
I'm fortunate enough to have the early 2000s Fantastic Four Classics Dragon Man (not the cheap 5" scale version shown in the pics) and I love it. I find it extremely unlikely that Hasbro could top it without making it a super Deluxe offering that would cost more than the recent Blob figure. More likely they'd try to make it a HasLab and charge like $150-$200.
I read a rumor somewhere that Charlie-27 might be the BAF for the upcoming GOTG3 movie figure wave. We'll have to see if that comes to pass or not.

Charlie-27 is a yes! I'd be happy with any classic look, but would probably most prefer the "superhero" look, least prefer the '90s look, and with the rest falling somewhere between those two. But any look would be fine with me.
Pass on the MCU version.

Oh yes to Charlie-27. I'd prefer the latter Valentino looks, but we'vr started with the earlier looks. Whichever is consistent with the forthcoming Yondu works for me.

I have no need for Charlie 27, but looking at him I feel sorry for his mother I imagine he was a difficult birth.

Dragonman: Definitely! 100% Absolutely
Charlie-27: Absolutely needs a figure to go with the other classic Guardians. I won't buy it, but it should exist.

It think that rumor you heard somewhere was more than likely just a fan boy wishing...
Also... I love when I get in this thread and the title has changed for the new day but the post for the day's entrant hasn't yet been posted... Nightwatch indeed.
Re: One a Day - Day 477: Charlie-27 (comic & MCU)
I don't think that's likely. If the BAF for that wave were a comic based Charlie-27 it would be an affront to so many collectors as it would be a comic based BAF figure in a wave of figures that was entirely movie based. And if it were a movie based Charlie-27 figure, well plenty of people like me wouldn't care and unless the character had an outsized role in the new movie I'm not sure it would excite a ton of MCU collectors either.
