Re: One a Day - Day 470: Honey Badger/Scout
I've heard of Honey Badger but never read anything with her. But she looks like fun and an *actual* wolverine would be great so yeah, I'd be in.

A bit after my reading days, but she looks like a fun character. I might consider her. Besides getting a girl sculpt would get us closer to Power Pack.

Never been a big fan of clones or animal sidekicks, so a clone of a clone with an animal sidekick isn't something I'd spend money on personally.

To top it off, they went to space and the Shi-ar (? if I remember right) gave Jonathan a collar with a voice translator so he could talk to people.fac wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 2:08 amHad to read up on this one. Possibly more interested in Jonathan the wolverine. I love this origin story from the Marvel wiki for the pure comic-book logic of it:
Squirrel Girl rescued Jonathan from a lab where he was being experimented on. She brought him to Wolverine's apartment, because she thought that Laura could talk to wolverines the same way she could talk to squirrels. Gabby, Laura's clone sister, took an immediate liking to the animal, as did Jonathan to her.

So, it's a yes from me since I'm all in on characters from X-books and she's a Claremont/Davis character. That being said, her look always seemed to me to be "more modest Emma Frost" and not particularly unique from a character design perspective. I definitely don't need multiple figures in multiple looks and so would go for the "Saturnyne" look as the most standard.

With such a complicated character history, I'd be good with just one version of the overall character. And in that case, I'd probably prefer the Saturnyne version in a classic look. Though any other classic version of Sat-Yr-9 or Courtney would be alright, as well. Definitely only really want one version though.

Minus being all in on X characters.
Her recent appearance was good, but still a pass for me personally.

Re: One a Day - Day 471: Courtney Ross, Saturnyne, Sat-Yr-9, Sa'tneen & Satyr-Nun
Largely how I feel. I would absolutely buy each version of her if they were made, because if that’s happening then we’re in some sort of glorious Marvel Legends utopia where the line is going deep on classic Excalibur, and I’d need her to go in my dedicated Excalibur cabinet along with every iteration of the team, the entirety of the Technet, the Crazy Gang, a pack of Warwolves, Hard-Boiled Henry, etc etc etc. But in reality we’ll likely only ever get one look, and it should be Saturnyne.TinkerersAssistant02 wrote:With such a complicated character history, I'd be good with just one version of the overall character. Saturnyne, et al: Despite being a pretty easy X-mark, I'd probably pass unless in a BAF wave or multipack where I wanted most of the contents
