96 - Puppet Master

Another one I absolutely and most definitely want. In fact, I pre-ordered a Finnster from the Power Rangers Lightning Line to see if I can swap on an old Professor X head (or something) to make my own. He even comes with little clay “puppet” bases. Also thought some Heroclix models might work.

I used a DCD Dr Silvana, a redone Joker head and a leather apron from some WWE character (sorry I don't know the WWE so don't remember the name). Heroclix are an easy finishing touch.

The only Equinox I know of is from Batman the Brave and the Bold. Never heard of this guy but I'd buy him. The Thermodynamic Man? Absolutely!

Heck yeah, Equinox! Created by Len Wein & Gil Kane, then expanded upon by Claremont & Byrne — the guy's got some serious pedigree! He does indeed have the powers of both the Human Torch and Iceman, and I think he'd really pop on the shelf.

I have a big soft spot for Equinox. Marvel Team-Up 60 where Yellow Jacket and Wasp help fight Equinox was an absolute favorite of mine when I was a kid - didn't hurt that it was drawn by John Byrne. The mix of Fire and Ice felt like such a cool idea.

Equinox was one of the first figures I ever customized way-back-when in the Toy Biz 5 inch style using half of a Human Torch and half of an Ice Man. It worked pretty well, but I would really love an official version all these years later.

He isn't a major player, but its a character I've always liked and would love to have in my Legends collection.

I am not familiar with Equinox even though that is the period of Marvel I have the most experience with. He would make a really cool looking action figure but I am not sure Hasbro would do that design justice; especially considering he seems to be such a deep cut.

Yes to the U-Foes and Equinox. Equinox is pretty obscure but on the plus side he's basically just a kitbash of Iceman and the Human Torch with a new head. He would look great and be cheap to make so maybe that gives him some hope of being made someday?

Day 99 - Equinox

I’d love to get Equinox. The issue of Marvel Tales #193 where Spidey and Yellowjacket teamed up to fight Equinox was one of the first comic books I ever got. I got it before I could even read, so I spent a lot of time looking at the artwork. I still have my original copy, dog-eared to hell and missing the cover. I’d buy this figure in a heartbeat.

Yes to Equinox. Missed opportunity to have him be on one of the equinoxes though. Lol

Equinox would make a great looking figure. Makes sense to pair hold and cold powers. Cold would be taking away the heat from an area which would give the character excess heat to then fire out as heat blasts.

Never heard of Equinox. I like the 2 tone look.
He reminds me of DC’s Ultra the Multi-Alien. I always wanted a figure of him in Mattel’s line.
