I think the main draw for me would be diorama bases. I doubt they'd do anything as elaborate as ToyBiz did, though.
I don't think we'll get actual bases. I think we'll just get artwork of the bases on some cards, like the one Ryan held up in the last livestream.

No Affleck DD please. That was a terrible figure, lousy as it gets.

That flick is playing on Hulu so I gave it a look to see if I still hated it.

Yup. It still sucks. But I had forgotten Favreau was in it as Foggy, so will want another Happy to pair with my Custom Murdock. So that reminds me we need the Nick Fury suit figure reissued at some point with a blue suit.

I also love the idea of giving Spider-Man Classics some love. Maybe the oft rumored Rhino would end up on a Spider-Man Classics cardback rather than a retro cardback? It'd also be a great place to put a new red Daredevil since he was also in that line. A redone McFarlane Spidey would sell a lot too, I'm sure.
Yeah, one of the Spider-Man Classics figures was an actual McFarlane figure (the figure everyone ended up calling "McFarlane Spidey" wasn't based on his art, that always bugged me.) They could re-release the Retro Spider-Man with the Raft box set head and a darker shade of blue, extra hands and an unmasked head to make it more of a "deluxe" figure.
I hope they make a new headsculpt since I never liked that Raft head. They could also downscale the 12 inch ML Spidey head since I think that's fairly close to McFarlane's art.

I really don't ever want to see clamshells again, but I'd say yes to Toad though...

Could be a good place for a 2-pack Dark Phoenix rerelease with brighter red + Phoenix effect base like the ToyBiz version had.
Ooooh that I'd like, or maybe the White Phoenix we still haven't got.

I heard Toad is a lock and they are upping his articulation to 10 POA, 3 of which are in his tongue.

I would like to see them celebrate this anniversary by focusing in particular on those Toy Biz figures that have never had any Hasbro release.

For example, Toad, Angel, Longshot... Just to name a few from the X-corner.

Like the x-babies.

I wonder if it's 12 figures or 12 SETS.

I'm assuming we'll see 12 offerings: Singles, multipacks, and deluxe offerings. Just a guess, mind you.

Guys, there's a thread on the same topic on the second page of the forum.

We're not even trying anymore.

2022 is a big year for Marvel. 60th anniversary of Spider-Man's debut, 30th anniversary for X-Men The Animated Series, 10th anniversary of the Avengers movie, and the 20th anniversary of Marvel Legends. A redo of 80th anniversary Captain America in lighter blue colors is a given, along with a new Toad and Iron Man with pointy mask. I wonder how they'll do Hulk? A rerelease of the 80th anniversary with a new head?

I agree with this. Toad, Longshot and Angel for sure.

As I see all of these lists with characters Hasbro has done well recently it makes my eye twitch.

New versions of Toy Biz stuff like classic Power Man, Iron Fist and Marvel Knights Black Panther would also be welcome.

But I'm not looking for a new version of Namor, Daredevil or Punisher. Time to come to terms with the fact that much of this line up may not be for me.

I'd be happy with any redo of a figure design that hasn't already been done in the last 3 years.

Cap is obviously at the top, but Wesley Snipes Blade would be one of the only movie figures to ever get me. Instant purchase. I'd rather a new comic version, but I'd be so down for Affleck Daredevil. Maybe it's just nostalgia, but that suit is killer, and that movie has my favorite adaptation of Kingpin to this day. Danny Ketch (with bike) would also be a childhood dream come true.

I'd love to see them redo Mar-Vell as well. Yeah we just got one, but the headsculpt and paint sucks, it doesn't have flight hands, and its on a horrible body. No fun to play with.
