Megan and Kitty don't need too much new, maybe just some overlays for Kitty.
Kitty at the very least would need a new head, torso and arms.

Assuming a full repaint for Nightcrawler, I think it's about 15-20 new parts altogether:

Captain Britain
Knees (?)

Meggan (Green)
Hair
Head

Shadowcat
Hair
Head
Forearms
Collar (?)
Chest / Overlay
Torso (?)
Belt (?)

Phoenix
Hair
Head
Alternate Flame Hair (?)
Alternate Head (?)
Upper Arms
Forearms
Chest
Torso

They might reuse Lady Deathstrike's upper arms, but I don't think we've seen 80s Kitty-style forearms for the short female body.

I doubt they will stand on ceremony and not place a figure on those retro cards that wasn't on them before.

IIRC, they already haven't. I don't think late-80s Dazzler, Madripoor Wolverine, and gray Beast were part of the 90s toy line.

They've absolutely put non-retro characters on retro cards before. Bomber jacket Dazzler, right off the bat, and at least a few others.

Edit: WCP got there first. Rassin' frassin'.

At first I was thinking I didn't need a new Nightcrawler, but they could give him a new, older looking face.

Wasn't a figure revealed with some puffy arms recently? (At least the forearms). New head for sure, but wondering if the torso part could be an overlay piece, which actually would provide the right look for her shirt.

That Target did a second run of last year's figures for this summer makes me think it was fairly successful for them. And they teased the prior series with the Rogue glove far in advance.

I doubt they will stand on ceremony and not place a figure on those retro cards that wasn't on them before.
Just have to look at Hercules and Tigra. They’ll put any character in a retro card now.

Lady Deathstrikes sleeves would work well for Kitty. I hope they use that new Hercules for Captain Britain.

EDIT: missed a load of posts somehow!

Maybe, but I think they would make do.

Rachel would be the least likely given the needed new pieces. And honestly I would want some Phoenix effects with her. I feel like her look could be part of a regular wave and sell.

I was thinking of AoA Rogue's arms, which have the puffy upper arms, not the forearms.

Wasn’t the theory that JL Storm’s sleeves could also work for Kitty?

For Meggan…do we have current bare feet for a female figure? The only ones that come to my mind are the old HML Savage She-Hulk, which probably don’t work with current articulation and are probably our scale.

Pepper Paltrow from that 3-pack had bare feet.

The new She-Hulk, but I don't know how big they'd be compared to a normal female buck.

I hope they don't give her Pepper's man feet.

For some reason, I thought the new Lady Deathstrike and AoA Kitty sized with the teen body. Storm's or Rogue's arms probably make more sense.

Just wondering if any body caught a few of Dwights potential Excalibur comments on the stream yesterday? He did mention that even though Nova is the first time we’ve seen that new female body, it’ll be coming sooner in another character. First thing popped in my mind was Megan. He also mentioned Nova’s fire stand would be perfect for some other upcoming firey characters, Rachel Summers perhaps?
