Fantastic Four retro figures

They said the goal is to phase out plastic packaging by 2023. So I doubt Retro will be excepted. They did however say in one of the interviews last month that they’d like to continue Retro stuff in some manner, even if the concept has to be tweaked.

I was just saying to myself we need a Firelord (for the 100th time) last night then get that email about the drop a few minutes ago. Hmm. Not loving it like I thought I would. Head is great, but something's not cutting it for me. Not that I won't buy it.

Would have been nice if they could have sculpted some raised flames on the glove and boot lines. The paint jobs on the flaming characters don't have enough finesse lately.

Exactly.
Plus, for some reason they just can't seem to pull off the actual fire effects. The colors consistently transition the wrong direction. For example, Firelord's "hair" should be yellow at the "roots" and transition to orange at the flickering "tips". Same thing for Binary.
His pugil stick/staff fire-spheres should be yellow that fades to orange.

It drives me mad.

yeah; I need to set aside a day to touch up some yellows and orange highlights to my OG Human Torch and Dormammu. Maybe should just wait till Firelord arrives.

Aside from Fantastic Four team member variants (i.e. Trench coat Thing), original lineup characters not yet released in modern Hasbro Legends include Dragon Man, Gorgon, Triton, Attuma, and Wizard. I want to see all of those plus Diablo, Puppet Master, Red Ghost, Mad Thinker, Molecule Man, and Karnak.

EDIT: Add Sharon Ventura in both her Ms Marvel and She-Thing looks.

Seeing Firelord gives me hope that this line will continue a little longer. If it does, they HAVE to give us the Frightful Four. At least give us the Wizard and Trapster/Pastepot Pete. I would love Sandman in his green armor but I don't know how much of a chance there is of that happening.

Probably unlikely, but I’d love a three pack of Trapster, Medusa, and Sandman. Medusa on her own seems unlikely after the Walgreens figure, and Wizard definitely should have a solo retro card.
