Closing out the Age of Apocalypse

Man, DS is breaking with their normal shipping on these. Waiting on my full set I ordered within minutes of presale to go out. Loose and BAFs are usually the last to go out.

Beautiful group!

And, once again, I'll point out that Magneto, Rogue, Sabretooth, Wildchild, Morph, and Sunfire all patron the same collar shop.

Awesome group shot! I’m torn on if I should try and flip my old Holocaust BAF in anticipation of a new and improved one. They go for a pretty penny right now and the team all but guaranteed a 3rd wave is coming. Hmmm…

Clearly, the collar is their version of a uniform! I always liked that touch in their designs, because they are otherwise not cohesive in any other way.

My two cents would be to flip it if you don’t mind the absence. He’s a villain that crossed into 616. Even if we’re done with AoA, I feel comfortable saying he’s coming.

The collar is indicative of being on Magneto's (and then later Rogue's when she took over) team. You'll notice no one on Quicksilver/Storm's team or Colossus'/Shadowcat's has them. Iceman originally was on Quicksilver/Storm's and only left at the end to meet up with Rogue right before the showdown with Apocalypse in X-Men Omega.

I'm really loving this series. I hope we get one more wave to close out the main/ significant characters in the storyline.

I also noticed that from the recent wave, only Cyclops doesn't have an extra set of hands. Even Colossus was given extra fist hands and he's the BAF.

Epic pic, Norm! Man, I'm still waiting for Dorkside to ship mine. This is the longest Legends drought I've ever had, I think.

I can't quite place it, but there's something off with the Magneto figure for me.. specifically the helmeted head. I feel it's too small and narrow.

I wish they gave us the shadowed head like the MAFEX and MU have. That was more iconic for this version of the character.

How about putting the Onslaught head on Magneto? I was thinking of doing that.

Boog showed that in his review of Rogue. Seemed to fit fine. Here's a link to the moment where he starts showing that head on Magneto:
