Selling preorders at 50% off just seems too fishy for me to jump in. They can't be making money at those prices and they may be desperate for some cash flow, very similar to what Dorkside was doing near the end. I would proceed with extreme caution and hope no one gets stuck with a store credit they can't use if they don't come through on the preorders.

EXACTLY. A preorder that won't be fulfilled until September. I do not want store credit which is how that story was going to end.

Yeah I’d definitely be buying with a credit card that had protections extending beyond the preorder delivery window for just that reason. It definitely feels like an emergency move to get cash flow in to be selling everything - including preorders - half off. I wonder what the wholesale price on a ML is these days?

You should do a test purchase. One Legend figure at $13.50 plus $7 shipping. Still better than $27, and you get to find out if they're legit right away. And throwing money away is never fun but $20 isn't the end of the world for an experiment.

I've bought in stock figures from them plenty of times, when they had this same sale late last year i got several SHF figures dirt cheap. It's the pre orders people are concerned about.

I dunno... I was really anxious about it but I paid with credit card, they responded yes about refunding if they aren't able to fulfill a preorder, and they're actually not too far from where my dad lives.

I ordered the only Black Series figure that wasn't a preorder, Endor Han Solo, and some Batman / Capullo TPB's and the Batman/Spawn one-shot because the glow in the dark cover appealed to my 90s side. Basically 40 with tax to see if it's a scam, but since none of it's preorder I'd assume I'm either going to know pretty quickly or have it ship soon. Will let others know how I turn out, but I couldn't in good faith order half-priced preorders knowing the guy is already stiff on refunds, and find out months later.

Thanks for the heads up! Seems like my Target won't restock any Marvel Legends until each and every unwanted Shuri Black Panther is sold, and currently around $7.49.

I'm only seeing movie figures and TF Recondo, no TF Bazooka.
