I contacted their customer service and asked if they would refund if Hasbro doesn't come through or if they don't get enough stock to fulfill all their orders and they got back to me in around 24 hours letting me know that yes, if that occurs they will refund entirely. "Store credit" makes me anxious, heh. Either way, I appreciated them getting back to me and feel less worried at least.

Thanks for doing that and sharing. It is at least a small comfort.

I ONLY did preorders, so now I am quietly freaking out for the next couple months.

^^ This. After sleeping on it, I didn't want to wait months constantly thinking about it only to find out that I'm burned. I don't trust this store.

I emailed them to ask for a cancelation. They responded with another email address telling me to email a person. Thought that was weird. So, I email that person and they told me all sales are final. On the website policy terms it says for pre orders you can cancel within 48 hours. I reminded them that I contacted them in less than 24 hours.

Still, I had rude push back with them. They did not want to cancel. I asked them why they would want to sell this figure so low and essentially be giving me a free figure, and by me cancelling I'm helping them in the long run. They can sell both at retail now.

The dude finally said he was going to refund me on Monday so we will see. I do not trust this site to honor the pre order and a release date of September would be past the 180 days of protection PayPal offers.

I know it was dumb of me to pre order, but the price was too good to be true. My collector brain didn't think. The fact that they went back and forth for 5 emails to get a cancelation started, and it was that difficult when their website says you can cancel within 48 hours makes me think I don't want to be doing business with them anyway.

Lesson learned. I'm dumb. I'm probably wrong and they're awesome and they're just selling figures for 100% off months before they release. I rather not find out.

You bet! And yeah, it is. There's always going to the CC company if need be, but I'd really prefer a good transaction and another possibility for ordering figures, especially if they're offering deals so often.

I only pre ordered the SHF Carnage and Venom that i had zero interest at full price, if they cancel them I will not be terribly sad about it. I am not concerned about them screwing me, this is a legit store that I have used plenty in the past couple years. The constant sales are the only slightly concerning part.

To their credit they refunded me 100%. I just don't comprehend how they can sell stuff at that price and stay a business. I did not want to wait for Carnage to release to find out. Those deals are incredible though. "Makes no damn sense. Compels me though."

You should do a test purchase. One Legend figure at $13.50 plus $7 shipping. Still better than $27, and you get to find out if they're legit right away. And throwing money away is never fun but $20 isn't the end of the world for an experiment.

Selling preorders at 50% off just seems too fishy for me to jump in. They can't be making money at those prices and they may be desperate for some cash flow, very similar to what Dorkside was doing near the end. I would proceed with extreme caution and hope no one gets stuck with a store credit they can't use if they don't come through on the preorders.
