Not to throw any more fuel on the rumor fire but I talked to a local toy shop owner this weekend and he apparently knows that DS is, in fact, suffering financial trouble. They're not quite as bad as rumors would suggest, but they're not nothing either. He suggested they still have time to right the ship, but brand damage is a hard thing to overcome. I'm rooting for them.

If I had to guess, I would say that opening the brick and mortar store was their downfall. A couple of years of lackluster releases, rising prices, and supply chain issues probably didn’t help either.

I think they can still rebuild their brand if they can get their financial issues worked out. As far as I know, most their issues have been with order fulfillment as opposed to doing anything truly underhanded.

It looks like they took down all the items in the pre-order page. If you go to each category and click on pre-orders, some have 1 or two items in there. They still have their New Arrivals page updated though since I saw MS Vision in there.

It's such a shame... they're usually my go-to for ML waves and a few figures from other lines (especially when Pulse sells out). Like you, I'm rooting for them to somehow recover from their current crisis.

All the Mezco listings are now gone from the Dorkside site now, too. Guess I'm not getting Morbius from them for sure.

I just discovered Dorkside Toys earlier this year and have taken advantage of a lot of their sales. I had never bought anything from them prior to 2022 but so far this year I've spent just over $2500 with them since March. I've had nothing but positive experiences with them and would highly recommend them in general. The only issue I can remember is that they sent me the wrong item a couple of different times, but always corrected it quickly and painlessly. I'm definitely rooting for them!! They've become a favorite of mine.

Same here... I wonder if they will still honor these pre-orders. I have the Konshu wave, the latest classified wave and some X-Men retro singles still in my order list.

Not sure why Texas is in the link, but easy enough to Google. It appears DS can no longer collect tax on items for sale.

I forget how I found dorkside, but I immediately loved them for selling complete BAFs and loose figures. I went to town with them on the AOU Hulkbuster and Ultron waves, then the Civil War waves as well. Okoye, Mantis, one of the Thanoses.... Thani. Etc. Really a sweet deal for a while there. Beyond that, my customer service experience was always great. I'm sorry to say I jumped ship last week though.

Well, that's disappointing. Hopefully it's a temporary issue that they can resolve in a reasonable time frame. Obviously they haven't completely shut down their website or sales yet.
