My Target has a shared peg up for Hobgoblin, but no Ben Reilly.

Re: ML Retro Spider-Man figures
Stopped at another Target on the way home. They had Shocker and SSM in the back but they couldn't find SSM.
My First Shocker though so I'm happy. Gonna try tomorrow, hopefully I can score the SSM.

Looks like Ben Reilly Spider-Man is on the New Arrivals page on Dorkside but sold out...
Was he available as in in-stock and I missed him?!

Why the heck is Target all of a sudden getting full cases of single characters????? If I had to guess, they are forcing collectors to drive around. Thankfully I only want Shocker.

Can't speak to why, but they have been getting solids since the Venompool wave.MLNUT wrote:Why the heck is Target all of a sudden getting full cases of single characters????? If I had to guess, they are forcing collectors to drive around. Thankfully I only want Shocker.

They're employees complained about having to go to the back to pick out one figure, bosses agreed with the complaints and asked hasbro to eliminate the full wave concept.

I have a theory.

For every case of Symbiote Spider-Man that sells, one store will just sit on all their Hammerhead.
If they want to do solid cases, they should just stock the must-have figures across every store. Like every store should just do Symbiote and Ben Reilly and call it a day.
Re: ML Retro Spider-Man figures
Doesn’t seem to be working out for them, since in every store I’ve seen getting solid cases, the figures didn’t sell through and had to be clearanced. Lots of Cyclops, Mr. Fantastic, and Rogue on clearance in my area.100ptsofarticulation wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 4:25 amI have a theory.

Target stopped publicly reporting inventory by DPCI in early 2021. They only use TCIN now, and with that I see inventory in my area. You can find both TCIN and DPCI numbers on any Target product page.
Not sure Brickseek takes TCINs, but Popfindr does.

Blackagar Boltagon wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 6:24 pmThat's the same DPCI Target has on their site, but as with so many of these, it doesn't work with BrickSeek. I've got the ones I want preorded from HP, but I'd love to find them locally.

Re: ML Retro Spider-Man figures
None of these are at Targets in my metropolitan region of central Virginia yet except Shocker. He's showing 2 or 3 at every store via Popfindr, and the Target web site shows him in stock at a handful of those stores. I see no pattern why Target is only reporting him at some stores, but I'm guessing it's because he has arrived at some stores but for others he's still on the way. I have definitely had multiple stores tell me in the past that inventory showing up at their location via Popfindr was actually still on the way.
This is the start of a reset week for all Target toy sections, so the figures should be out either this week or next week for almost every area.

That definitely works.
I use Google search myself--if you put "site:target.com" at the end of your search terms it isolates its search to just the web site you specify. So typing into Google "marvel legends symbiote spider-man site:target.com" will find the listing page at Target. This works for every major retailer, not just Target, and I use it for Walmart, Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop, etc. I can also use it for some fan channel sites. I know it works with BBTS, although for whatever reason I've not had much luck using it with Dorkside. It's a great general-purpose search tool to know exists that I've used dozens or hundreds of times for sites far beyond action figures.
