Walgreens Exclusives

Well, glad I thought to check in here this morning. I actually managed to order a couple of Jigsaws from the Walgreens site. I'm gobsmacked.

I was up an hour early todayfor an appointment and by luck I managed to nab a Jigsaw!

Got mine, that was so painful. They're website sucks so bad.

It took me 3 tries because I kept clicking the wrong thing because they're stupid site makes you think the screen is loaded but then it starts jumping around because it's still loading.

Still there, was able to order one. Probably the first Walgreens exclusive I've ordered from Walgreens since Moon Knight back in 2020.

So now the obvious question…who’s next?!

Walgreens has been getting four exclusives per year; usually one per season or quarter. My memory is telling me the Fall Q4 2021 figure was Binary, the Winter Q1 2022 figure was Baron Zemo, and Jigsaw is the Spring Q2 2022 figure. The next figure for Summer Q3 2022 would usually be due between July and August, and usually we would see an announcement right about now, or by June at the latest.

But we've heard nothing. And there's no way the team isn't aware of Walgreens and their distribution issues with Legends at this point. So the answer MIGHT be that nobody is next, but I'm guessing we will get somebody and that the team has exclusives mapped for Walgreens for at least through the end of 2022. If there's no next announcement by the end of July I'll flip and start to think Jigsaw may be the last.

Skurge - he’s a “bad guy that is occasionally a good guy” or whatever the clue was.

Figure #4? Maybe a female like yellow suit fin helmet Moonstone (who is also an occasionally good bad guy) or Deathbird.

I've been able to get every exclusive either in person, or more recently, online directly from the Walgreens app/website. That said, it was really touch and go since Nova, where I was never 100% SURE they'd get released at all. So yeah, I'm ready for Walgreens to give up exclusives, especially if they aren't going to stock them at bricks & mortar.

I’m just hoping whoever is next isn’t X-men or Spider-man related. They get enough waves and exclusives to themselves that we don’t need to cram up these limited villain slots with them.

I'd definitely support a comic Skurge. As much of a hardcore MCU collector and fan of the films as I am, it hurts me to say I was not impressed with the version in Thor Ragnarok.
