Just received an email that my order is processing. Took a while but at least it’s moving.

Did you pay fully upfront? Not sure if they have other payment options but wondering if that’s a reason?
I didn’t pay upfront and chose the pay later option which was available when they first listed it. I’ve bought web exclusives from them before with pay later and they’ve always just sent me an invoice a couple of weeks before it’s released so I don’t know what happened here. I didn’t get any payment requests or warning whatsoever.

Maybe that’s it? I did pay for it fully upfront so at least that explains why my order is being processed.

I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to get it here for even cheaper in a couple of months.

Nin-Nin shipped my Tobey Spidey! Had almost forgotten about it.

I’m a little less excited knowing we’re not getting the unmasked Andrew head with that release. Sounds like it’s not coming until June either.

When is Carnage supposed to come out?

And that Green Goblin that was shown was never solicited, right?

I fully expect a third party andrew garfield head to drop eventually, it will probably cost at least twice the fifteen dollars they refunded from the change though.

Ferraramarketinc.com having a 50% off flash sale, they have shf carnage and venom included, comes out to 45. Free shipping if you find something to get to 65.

Those are insane deals! Tempted to pull the trigger, but just can’t bring myself to it. I’ve never heard of this site before and after seeing what happened with DST and some other places earlier this year, I’m weary of having open preorders with any smaller retailers

I'll give it a shot. Just don't preorder through Paypal and you should be good.

I keep seeing this advice, and I'm wondering why? I think people may have learned the wrong lessons from the Dorkside debacle.

If using a credit card gives you the option to not pay up front, then by all means go that route. However, if you are dealing with a site that takes money upfront regardless of payment method, then PayPal is the better option. PayPal gives a 180 days of protection on "good and services" purchases, versus the typical credit card that only give you 90 days of protection. In addition, you minimize the number of sites that have your credit card details.

Also note that some sites accept PayPal and don't charge upfront, such as HLJ, or even Netflix. Instead, you setup a payment agreement and they only charge you when product or services are rendered. Again, in this case you have better protection and they don't have your credit card details. You can also terminate the payment agreement at anytime via the PayPal site, another option you don't have with credit cards. With credit cards, you can only dispute a charge after it has taken place, you typically can't block a merchant from charging you.

In short, just skipping PayPal is not a means to guarantee protection. Know your options.

Certainly don't take comments by me as expert financial advice. Know the services provided by your card company and weigh your options.

That picture reminds me how happy I am to see Figuarts really getting behind the non-MCU movies. All of those are great.

I know I’m beyond ecstatic to have a good representation of Tobey in my collection… but I don’t really like how they did the shoulders. When you try and get him in a crouch you really see how bad it can look. This figure also feels more fragile than the Tom Holland releases somehow.

Still - this is one figure where I can put my rose colored glasses on and enjoy it either way.

What’s the release schedule for Carnage and then the other two “No Way Home” Spideys?

I agree, but I wish it wasn't at the expense of the MCU movies.
