Re: MAFEX Marvel Comics Figures
Seriously. I Just authorized my amiami preorder for classic Spidey but definitely thought twice about it - probably 75% of the figures I've gotten all year came in the last 6 weeks. Excited to get the figure in hand though!

But black costume Spider-Man totally reinvigorated my love for Mafex.
I'm so excited for Magneto, X-Factor Cyclops, Nightwing, The Terminator T-800, and the Knightfall Batman and Bane pics that popped up. Would be more excited about Scarlet Spider if he had the right hoodie. Hoping for the best with Storm and Poison Ivy.

Re: MAFEX Marvel Comics Figures
I felt a little Mafex fatigue after getting Psylocke, who might have the loosest joints of any figure I've ever had, and Jean...just a mediocre figure with disappointing head sculpts and accessories.TFitz wrote:I haven't fulfilled a Mafex order in months. I just decided the value wasn't there for me. I'm more than happy with Legends. But this has also been the case with Hush figures. I think I Mafex'd out. The delays on them really made me rethink my spending priorities, and they just aren't one for me anymore.

Re: MAFEX Marvel Comics Figures
This classic Spidey will be my first Marvel Mafex figure.
Im choosing this over all the various ML Spideys that have hit recently mainly because of the color scheme to be honest. The figure looks pretty incredible, so Im excited!

This MAFEX figure will be the definitive 1:12 Spider-Man, for me at least.
This is how I see Spider-Man in my mind’s eye.
So excited, ordered 5!

I’m not a big fan of accessories in a bag taped somewhere behind the tray (it works ok for some accessories, but some end up bent or with rubbed paint).
Since there is no picture showing the web effects as accessories (maybe he has only one, shown in some pictures), and considering the lack of unmasked head, I tend to think this will be a box for more bare bones releases.
But I can be wrong.
MAFEX Marvel Comics Figures
As long as it has all accessories in trays, I really like the idea of smaller boxes.blackcomicnerd wrote:I hope the smaller box is the way forward.

With those colors, it reminds me of the MVC Spider-man....very classic.

See... I wish they had done THAT Spider-Man with a Peter Parker head. The blue is SO much better on that figure!
