I'd buy a MS Death's Head in a heartbeat! Exactly the kind of design I like most from them.
I believe this constitutes a quorum and thus obliges Diamond to make him. Can't wait to see it!

Re: MARVEL SELECT - Mr. Fantastic
If MS released a comic Captain Marvel, I would be so happy.
If it was her Warbird costume especially. That look is so underrepresented.
I just got vision at a LCS and he’s quickly becoming one of my favorite selects.

Have you gotten any production samples in hand yet? I'm eager to see the early look pics you typically post!MSWord wrote:No plans to re-issue comic Taskmaster.
Apocalypse pre-sold out, so hopefully everyone who likes him pre-ordered.

Comic Taskmaster was my first Diamond Select Figure and is absolutely fantastic. He stays on my desk in my home office. Fashion Forward Destro however, had to relocate.

Re: MARVEL SELECT - Mr. Fantastic
So, a while back I posted here about how my Marvel Select Red Hulk had a faulty open left hand. Even without the left open hand, the figure was still quite amazing. From the sculpt, the articulation, the paint work, to the incredible size and weight of the figure, I couldn't have been more impressed, despite the messed up open left hand.
So, very quickly I recieved a reply here on the Fwoosh from a very helpful individual with the username: "chen11237". This user listed the email address from Diamond Select Toys customer service and suggested I give it a try.
So I sent DST an email about the non-functional open left hand and a very kindly individual named Jason responded by asking for my address and that he would pass my information along to the DST office in case they were able to find a replacement open left hand for me.
Fast foward a couple weeks, and what should I find in my mailbox? To my surprise, a small package from an individual named Zach Oat of Diamond Select Toys (Who might very well be a certain user on these very forums.....), containing a fully functional open left hand.
And now, my Red Hulk is truly complete. And as awesome as it was before, its just that much cooler now.

I can't help but be impressed by the fact that DST went out of their way, (including paying for shipping!) Just to help out some random collector.
Not many companies would even care enough to bother with such a small issue, but DST did. And that to me just shows what a group of classy folks they've got working over at Diamond Select Toys. Something I won't forget, that's for sure.
Anyways, I just wanted to post this follow-up here to highlight, Jason, Zach Oat (MSWord is that you?..) and everyone else who makes up Diamond Select Toys, who unlike many other companies, actually care about their customers satisfaction. And I appreciate that to no end. Thank you DST!

After Green Hulk and Red Hulk, I would imagine that a Grey Hulk will eventually be in the works (that body mold is fantastic, btw)
If that is the case, what are the chances of getting a head sculpt that is based on Todd McFarlane's run? I love the way he drew him with that really heavy brow line!
Thanks dude!

Hey MSWord,MSWord wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 9:44 pmI'll try to share some size comparison pics once I have MODOK in hand. We'd probably never do him as an articulated MS because he wouldn't fit in MS packaging and he would break the MS pricing tier. But as a Gallery Diorama we can put him in a window box and make him nice and big. All the talk of dynamic posing makes me laugh, though.
Looking at some dates, and it looks like Skrull and Apocalypse should both be in the warehouse next month. Hopefully people dig 'em!

Re: MARVEL SELECT - Mr. Fantastic
I do not know if a Grey Hulk has been considered using this body (we planned on a Red from the beginning), but it is certainly possible. We've done an early-1960s Hulk (Savage), already, so any Grey Hulk we did would probably need to be from the Mr. Fixit era. At that point, we might opt to do something a little different, since he wore a distinctive outfit at that time. This is all hypothetical, of course.
