Are they juggling criminals? Criminal jugglers? They gotta have a lot of balls to go up against superheroes.
Would not buy.

So I remember Oddball fighting ol' Hawkeye, and I could probably be convinced to pick him up, but otherwise, I'd pass on the rest.

Re: One a Day - Day 474: Death-Throws
Likewise, that Oddball is the only one I’d really consider. He’s probably the best known of the Death-throws (not that it’s saying much). Even then, he’d be a clearance buy.
If we had any representation of the Circus of Crime, then Throwdown would be a consideration. She’d fit the circus theme.
Otherwise, I’d probably pass on the others. Juggling can be an entertaining skill, but it doesn’t lend itself to super villainy.

Re: One a Day - Day 474: Death-Throws
I would buy the Death-Throws, because the Hawkeye limited series and their Captain America appearances were from my early comic reading days so I have nostalgia for them, but I wouldn't really be sad if they were never made.
Oddball would look fun on the shelf though.

Look, if Marvel Legends is putting out a full set of the Death-Throws I’m obviously buying it because what a world that would be! Alas, in boring old reality, it’s probably a stretch that we’d even get Oddball.

Re: One a Day - Day 474: Death-Throws
OK, it’s time for a quick weekend catch up:
472(a) - Gateway: So, Gateway is essential for completing the Outback X-Men and is a longstanding part of the X-Men tradition, so yes I’d need him in my collection. However - I’m not sure Gateway needs a super dynamic ultra-articulated action figure since 90% of the time (more?) he spends sitting in his one cross-legged position. He’d obviously need full articulation in his arms and shoulders so he could whirl his bullroarer or sit in zen-like contemplation. But his lower half could basically be unarticulated seated sculpt. If they fully articulated his legs he wouldn’t even be able to get into his signature position and that would be a fail.
472(b) - N’astirh: I’ll be honest, I never really cottoned to the idea of N’astirh. It was very obviously contrived as a play on words to be coupled with the original Limbo demon S’ym to mimic the word Sinister (Sym – Nastirh… so funny) He played a big enough roll in the X-Men stories that I’d definitely buy him if he was made but he’s not one of my favorites and I’m not dying to get him and there’s so much going on with his unique body type that I’m not sure they would invest the cost unless they thought they could get a bunch of re-use. They have the wings from the Knull set that could work, I suppose there’s a world in which they could fudge the lower legs for Gorgon to work for this character and get some reuse… I don’t know. I’d definitely rather have S’ym though.
473 – Kangaroo: So I have a soft spot for the original version. He’s from that era where I could only afford a few comics a week and didn’t collect Spidey, but my brother did and I always coveted the characters on those covers - Will O the Wisp, Stegron and Kangaroo fits in to that. So yes I’d definitely get a figure of the classic original Kangaroo character. I’m unfamiliar with the bloke with the long eared cowl and tail. The design seems fun enough, so I’d probably pick it up… but for nostalgic reasons I’d prefer the original. For budget reasons he also seems way more likely to get done by Hasbro.
474 – the Deaththrows: So this is such a goofy collection of Morts that I can’t seen Hasbro concentrating on them and they aren’t something I feel my collection is missing.
That said, I could see Hasbro deciding to maybe do one of them as a goofy random insertion - assuming it’s one they could do really cheap. I think the most likely candidate is Oddball - his design is just a repainted Bullseye with some balls attached to the costume. He’s goofy and silly enough an if Hasbro did make him I’d grab him. Bombshell is probably the coolest of the group and has the best costume designs, really, but I think she’d be less likely to be made because she’s a female . If I can’t get Diamondback it seems unlikely I’ll be seeing Bombshell. Ringleader is another one that would be pretty easy to make but I think the color pallete might be less appealing. I can’t imagine them getting far enough into these guys to get to Knickknack or Tenpin - and I have to be honest I don’t even remember Throwdown a little bit.

Gateway: I'd probably get him, honestly. He's from one of my favorite X-Men eras.
N'astirh: I really dig monster/demonic looking creatures, so I'd definitely buy him.
Kangaroo: Both versions are an easy pass.
Deathblows: No to each and every one of them. I'm all for silly characters, but these aren't interesting enough to really do much.

Re: One a Day - Day 474: Death-Throws
They aren't huge priorities or anything, but I'd be down for any of the Death-Throws besides that Throwdown one, who I've never heard of before now. I'm guessing that's a fairly new character? And they also bumped up Knickknack's height in recent times? Would definitely prefer his classic shorter height.
