My list changes quite a bit each year, though the X-Men characters have become more and more sparse for me as I slowly get to a point where I feel like I have what I need. I can't believe I'm actually going to get a Maggot!

Superior Spider-Man, Crimson Dynamo, Blob, Marrow, Lady Mastermind, Skurge, and Ghost Rider [Robbie Reyes], all came very close. Especially Superior Spider-Man Who was a last minute sub out for Cypher.

I’m surprised at how little I see immortal hulk love on the fwoosh in general (and don’t get me started on the select ‘immortal’ hulk!), but there’s a few picks from that. The Fortean abom would be even better with alt Rick jones head/s (and hey, throw in classic too). I LOVE Titania’s costume with the purple and spiked shoulder pads (looks like a variant of one seen in a black bolt comic, where she also has a hood), but have zero interest in a ‘classic’/boob window version. Or one on a too svelte body.

Similarly for Shulkie, for me it’s super hench or not bothered (hm, maybe should have made her my baf choice). Cable could be done in all sorts of variations, but my preference would be for big shoulder pads but no chest straps, to better preserve articulation. The Jean costume is basically her x men red one but recoloured - a good ‘90s update’ to my mind, but she doesn’t wear it often. And this is heresy, but I’d probably prefer GR without his bike, in terms of shelf space.

Deathbird and Monet (current hox look) were just outside my ten (alongside one hit wonder Hazard, as a none-more-90s choice), and Conan would have been on there if I was more sure Hasbro could actually make him. There’s a few wolverine looks I considered too, but voting for him in the top ten felt like something that would get me banned.
