McFarlane Grifter head swaps?

Has anyone attempted to put the McFarlane Grifter head on a Marvel Legends suit body, or a G.I. Joe Classified figure? I'm just wondering how awkwardly big it would look, and how it would connect. Would anyone who has Grifter and any of those other figures mind posting a picture?

I really liked the way Dustin Nguyen drew Grifter in casual clothes and occasional tactical gear in Wildcats 3.0, so I was hoping for an easy, lazy custom with a head swap.
