I'll take a Mitch Hedberg and a Paul F. Tompkins, for sure, but these 3 don't move the dial for me. Great idea, though! Hopefully they aren't too cost prohibitive like Nacelle's Robo Force line.

This just doesn’t seem like a concept which transfers to the toy format.

I can at least see Joan Rivers being useful in some photo ops. Or Rodney Dangerfield. But this seems destined to fail. As does Roboforce.

Those two along with Gilbert Gottfried and Jerry Seinfeld would be all I need.

Give me an in their prime Robin Williams and George Carlin and I'd consider it. Along with a Dangerfield, and maybe a Kinison with a screaming sculpt.

Carlin and Williams would be great, but they gotta fit in the real physical comedians, so the "action" figure is worth it. Gimme a Chris Farley.

I’ll grab a Joan Rivers, I wonder how far back they’d go as I’d take some Marx Brothers figures as well.

That Joan Rivers still doesn't have as much plastic and the actual person does.

She may have died 7 years ago but her face will live forever.

Depending on the likeness of these I would be down for a bunch.

Eddie Murphy
Jerry Lewis
Richard Pryor
Jim Carrey
Rodney Dangerfield
Redd Foxx
Lavell Crawford

Phil Silvers
Milton Berle

Not everything needs to be made into an action figure.

Agreed. Why not just static vinyl figurines? Certainly they’d cost less to produce.

You can't have static figurines fight each other.

I dig the idea. There are quite a few I'd get if the line keeps going.

I want Patrice O'neal in his same fit from Elephant in the Room. I need him sooner rather than later because I can't see this line going past a wave or two.

Outside of Rodney Dangerfield, I can't imagine any iconic comic selling as an action figure. Rodney had a face that kinda screamed toy and he's such an all-time great. he was also super famous and become one of those iconic 80's figures.

This lineup, yeah, it's gonna be one and done unless these guys just like to lose money. Bill Hicks and Lenny Bruce might be legends of comedy, but not only are they uninteresting as action figures, 99.9% of the world don't know who they are. They weren't even big names in their own time and history, while perhaps kind to their legacy, has not increased their star power. A line like this has to sell not only to the diehards, but the casuals who would be like "Oh it's a toy of so and so, I should grab that for a laugh", etc.

Joan is the big name of this trio, by a lot and she's definitely a legend, but again I can't imagine anyone clamoring for a Joan Rivers action figure.

Maybe they'll sell millions of them, but I seriously wonder who thought this was a good idea.
