What comic license would you like to see McFarlane grab?

Well, I need to think of characters who would naturally be stretched out with really long legs and tiny feet. So maybe someone like Big Bird?

Half-joking aside, I don't think McF excels at human proportions and certainly not scaling. So something more monster based where proportions and scaling aren't as important. Hellboy seems possible.

I would like action figures from a few comic properties, but I'm not sure McFarlane would be the right company. Except I'm not sure who else would be willing to make them.

Sorry. I don't mean to sound too harsh toward McF. I know people love his stuff. I just find there's some weirdness to the proportions and scaling is all over the map.

ElfQuest is one of my top wants in figure form. The ones that were released in the 90's were pretty terrible for the most part.

I think Super7's Ultimate line would fit the Elfquest aesthetic much better, and would love to see that happen!

Lots of good picks. One thing though is I think WetWorks is a DC comic. Due to a family tragedy, Whilce Portacio went into a deep depression and didn’t draw much for a while. His Image partner status was revoked and Jim Lee bought WetWorks and hired Whilce to work on it. So in a roundabout way, I guess Todd could make WetWorks figures as a part of the Multiverse line. For old times sake.

It's the wrong scale for me, but I think I'd be pretty jazzed about Parker figures from the Richard Stark adaptation, done in Darwyn Cooke style. I wouldn't be mixing them with other lines, anyway, so the different scale wouldn't really matter. If he could get the Parker series and Criminal, I could have a whole collection of criminals and gangster. Probably not a lot of legs in that line, beyond people like me, but a line of classic noir characters is basically my dream.

I'd also love to see him tackle the Maxx again; he was drawn pretty inconsistently sized, so being 7" scale probably wouldn't bother me, and, honestly, even if it did, the joy at having a really good, articulated, more or less comic accurate figure would outweigh that.

Both are characters I would buy figures of, but honestly that would probably be it for me from the two teams in 7” scale.

I would love to see him tackle something silly. Like Archie comics or Garfield. Even Dilbert or Doonesbury might be fun. I mean the super grim and gritty comic book properties are always great but for Todd it’s a dime a dozen. I’d love for him to take a property just goofy as hell and defies all expectations as a toy line and for people to just look at them and go “Well hang on a minute, these look pretty sweet too! How the heck did I not know about these?”
