Futuristic Combat Soldiers by Invincible Toys

Sat Sep 25, 2021 9:53 pm

So, peeping this Kickstarter, etch I thought adjust had a thread...

Does anyone know this guy? I mean, these look fine, I would consider backing if I had any clue if this person is reputable or knowledgeable. After the nonsense with BoxGhost, I'm gunshy. And it's strange to me seeing some Kickstarters recently that went out of their way to showcase protos (Tecco Toys) and still not hit their funding, and this dude seemingly prototyped and is now kickstarting in just a year... like Jesus, if he's this capable, he needs to get in touch with Anthony's Customs and help that fool get his cyber ninjas rolling. (They look really cool, but Anthony's development time is killing me)

Whoa.. six feet? That’s a real action figure. Going to cost a pretty penny.

I hadn't seen that typo. That's funny. Like dude, "it's the action figure that can get you into the carpool lane! You can complain in his clothes! The only figure that can play daddy to your Sentinel baby!"

Pretty cool - I have been mostly 7" of late, but I like the designs from that little snippet there.

I've been watching the progress on IG and they looked great, however I think the paint jobs are terrible on these. Definitely on the fence here...

I was looking at these, and I think I might at least take a chance on the samurai. He fits into something I'm working on.

They are available at BBTS as well.

I really like the concept, but the execution didn’t hook me.

Yeah, I preordered him through BBTS. I crowdfund plenty of stuff but if the option to pay when it comes out is there, I'll take that.

Did he post any scale pics so far? I'd like to see how much smaller these are than 7" figures.

Here's one. The Halo figure is a bit over 7" tall.

Hi guys Landon from Invincible Toys. First of thank you for checking out the line and taking the time out to post. I noticed some questions about the line and myself. We recently did a podcast with Toying Around that is very informative and focuses on the line and gives me an opportunity to introduce myself and give a little bit of my background.

As for the figures these are prototypes printed, assembled and hand painted by myself for the campaign so any discrepancies in paint and or anatomy will be worked out in production.

Thank you for your time and consideration
Landon

I’ve backed it for two figures: Spartan and cowboy. The cowboy alone piqued my interest and the Spartan figure looked too good to pass up. Hopefully it gets funded as we are about 1/3 of the way there with 20 days to go.

I actually recommended an artist friend to him to make him the box art for the spartan figure. Hopefully they went through with it.

They look good for the most part, but I'm not really digging the joint design on some of them. Too tubular? Too cut out? I don't know. But the designs are cool.

I was just ogling last night thinking for sure his odds of funding were dead now that Street Humans launched, and he was only like 29% funded. This morning, one more person, and we're at 100%. Somebody REALLY likes these figures.
