Especially with word the League of Malevolence is coming back in game, we have Zarak and Warduke, lets get Kelek in here too. Ringlerum, Melf, Elkorn, and Mercion are also big wants for me.
Yeah, really ANY announcement would be nice!

I pre-ordered the Beholder and a Displacer Beast.

Grimsword tempts me each time I see it at Target. It’s just a behemoth of a warrior. He looks more like the combatant Cobra Commander trots out unsuspecting captives out in an arena to fight with all that snake branding…

I probably will pick him up.

I’m definitely interested in Strongheart. He and Warduke were favorite toys I had as a kid.

Warduke was one of my absolute favorites as a kid too, just love him and the NECA update so much!

And Grimsword is indeed a beast of a figure, very happy I grabbed him as well. Planning on replacing Wardukes skirt with a faux fur custom so he sits on the horse better (and I have to fix his broken chain for the sheath)

great pics! I also had Warduke and Strongheart as a kid, so had been real eager to pick him up. Took BBTS forever to get him in. you're really tempting me to toss Voligar off that horse and give it to Warduke, looks amazing!

Thanks man! I definitely need a NECA Strongheart to go with the vintage one. Those were my two main dudes in the line (as was the case with most kids that collected these I bet). The Ogre King and Northlord were two of my favorites as well. I really hope NECA does updates on those guys too!

I think NECA's ability to continue to make D&D figures may well be dependent on how successful Hasbro's efforts to mine the property are viewed by the company.

They have done a lot to get out the main cast from the 80's cartoon and are doing a lot to support the new movie with toys. If those efforts are viewed as successful I wouldn't be at all surprised if NECA is forced to stop doing their D&D figures altogether with Hasbro deciding to horde the license.

If on the other hand - and there is at least some evidence to suggest this is the path we're on - Hasbro's efforts to mine the D&D property are viewed as unsuccessful by the company and they elect not to continue releasing D&D related toys - that NECA's opportunities to produce figures could open up wider.

It will be interesting to see where we land.

It would be nice if several companies could make dnd toys. Maybe they will end up like TMNT where everyone and their mom makes toys for them. I just want some dnd merch, and right now I am eating well, but I could be eating great. :D

Sorry to double post, but Neca just posted updates and more images for Zarak and Strongheart on their website and social media, and wow. They look great. I

Estimated September release date. I think i'll have to get two Zaraks bc that alt head is amazing. I wonder if it will fit well on Mythic Legion figures... or if it could fit on Strongheart? I would love a tall half-orc knight!

Good to see these 2 finally solicited and being put up for preorder. I wonder why Strongheart lost his double elbows but Zarak kept his. Hopefully a wave 3 gets revealed soon.

I absolutely love the Warduke Neca figure. ...Except for the fact that his shoulder width appears to be the same size or smaller than Zarak's. I just can't buy the figure. Every time I would look at it it would make me nauseus. He doesn't have anything resembling heroic proportions up top. I understand the real world realism it is trying to get, but his shoulder strap is always threatening to slide off of him like a starving harlot. He just needed wider shoulders. I would have preferred beefier arms as well, but the small shoulder girdle kills it for me. I'm glad most of you can enjoy it. It is an incredible character design and execution otherwise.

It looks like Strongheart has in/out wrists instead of up/down. Why does this keep happening with sword-wielding figures?

I'm hoping Super7 graduates these to an Ultimates line.

I got Warduke from Target and while I enjoy it a lot, I just wish he was more playable. Which is kind of a standard NECA criticism I guess. The details are incredible though and I’m happy to have him.

So cool to see Strongheart come with his Golden Hammer that he mentioned in the D&D cartoon!

I’ll order a few of each!

Bring on Wave 3 please. Mercion/Kelek
