Yeah, I'm hopeful at this point, but Ultimates as a whole feel like a line of toys circling the drain. It's a bummer, when they hit they really hit.

Is it weird that Silverhawks isn't in their "licenses" section on the site? Was it like that before or did that change? I only have Mumbo Jumbo on order, but after recent disappointments I was rethinking that...but now I'm not sure what's going on.

After seeing the absolutely horrible Andre the Giant they just released, my expectations for these are getting lower and lower.

this is so astonishingly awful. i don't know how they saw that and felt comfortable releasing it.

Considering how many licenses are listed, yeah, I'd consider it weird. I don't know that it means anything. Wave 2 just shipped from the factory so I don't think anyone should fear the stuff that's been solicited will get cancelled or anything, but maybe a Wave 4 isn't a sure thing?

What an odd situation. I thought S7 owned the property. Unless I misunderstood him, Bobby Vala said he looked into Silverhawks, but Brian stepped in and bought them.

That's apparently what Brian thought as well. It's why the Ramen Toys line ended after their Mon-Star figure. It seems Brian didn't actually buy the property like he thought he did, and someone (person or company) stepped up and let him know it.

Yeah when they tried making a silverhawks animated series with nacelle, warner bros stepped in and let them know that brian/s7 doesnt actually own silverhawks.
The Ramen silverhawks are still continuing, unlicensed and under a different name.

Just got an email from BBTS that Wave 3 is delayed to Late September.

These updates were made in December, BBTS is just late to the party. Wave 2 has shipped from the factory so March should be in play. Granted, BBTS seems to get their stuff shipped directly from the factory so they could get it a littler later, but also a little earlier.

There's a Shartimus interview where Quicksilver and I think Mon-Star are seen in their packaging. Those figures actually looked better than what was seen at the con display.

Super7 actually sent out an email update on Thursday for the Ultimates line. Here is the relevant section for Silverhawks:

Silverhawks

• Wave 1 (Armored Mon*Star, Quicksilver, Buzz-Saw, Steelheart) - Leaving the factory the end of March and scheduled to ship to customers in early-May 2023.

• Wave 2 (Bluegrass, Mon*Star Pre-Transformation, Steelwill, Windhammer, Mon*Star's Throne) - Production has left the factory and is on the water. Scheduled to ship to customers in late-February 2023. (It had jumped ahead of Wave 1)

• Wave 3 (Commander Stargazer, Hotwing, Mumbo Jumbo, Mo-Lec-U-Lar) - In tooling at the factory. Leaving the factory late-July and shipping to customers mid-September 2023.

I don't see how it's DOA. If you watch the last interview with Shartimus that was mentioned above, the figures look pretty good. Sounds like they will be in people's hands in a few weeks. Once wave 2 arrives, I imagine we'll see a preorder for wave 4 soon after.
