Saw the artist proof marine in Target, but I got register locked. Oh well. Weird since I saw this for sale somewhere else a couple weeks ago.

Noticed that Deluxe Mandarin Spawn has some Eldar qualities. Especially that helmet shape and the eyes and even some accents.

It does look vaguely Eldar-esque, but are you suggesting using it as the based for a custom, or that some common elements might appear in an Eldar figure released in the future?

I was thinking a custom, the feet are clawed so there are certainly parts that need modifying or swapping.

You could use it for a Dark Eldar custom figure with very little work.

I thought about that too or even a base for Avatar of Khaine. I ordered one so it’s on the way. Once I see it in person I can get a better idea what to do with it. If someone made a mold of the head/helmet and trimmed down some of the more elaborate elements, it could make a good base for lots of Aeldari customs.

There is another leaked list going around:

Wave 4 has Genestealers, Reivers, and a Ravens Guard Veteran Sergeant.

Two “Megafigs” too: Big Mek and Ork Meganob with two variations.

Honestly wish they would release these at the same rate they are releasing DC figures. So many chapters of Space Marines they could release.

Looks like a chase variant flayed one will be part of the next wave.

Interestingly it seems to have the same sculpt as the artist proof flayed one being offered, which is different than the standard painted release. This line is awesome, but it gets a little confusing with all the variants.
Actually I have no idea what's going on with the flayed one. This site is showing sculpted fleshy bits that differ from the previous images we've seen for both the standard release and the artist proof.

Pre-orders at this Canadian store matches the leaked list

If they look as good as I hope, I'm getting 3 Genestealers. The Orks are must-haves too.

Very pleased with the upcoming releases....

I just bit the bullet on him so I can have a leader for my two Red Marines.

I'll be honest, I never really cared about Warhammer before, but the figures are really nice and having a squad of em is pretty cool. Wish I was able to get the blue ones though (I feel the blue looks nicer then the red) but they sold out real fast. Doubt I'll get too many other figs from the line though, most of the other races I've read about don't really seem all that interesting.

Except the Space Orks. I could certainly use some Space Orks. But unlike the marines who can work with uniformity, the Orks all need to be unique and different so McFarlane better put out a ton of em, or include extra parts in their packs or something.
