Is BBTS the only place we can pre-order these currently? I haven't been paying too much attention to this line, but after looking at those facebook pics, I'm fairly convinced I need this Red Sonja in my collection.

I ordered from Exec Replicas. I do not trust them. Last time I ordered from them was the Shi figure that never materialized. I don’t know if my distrust is misdirected. But for some reason I went in again with them. I hope they pull through because Vamp and Sonja look incredible.

Wait, what Shi figure are you talking about? Because I pre-ordered a Shi figure from there maybe 6 months ago or so...

Shi was cancelled temporarily because Billy Tucci wanted some minor changes to her. Mostly in the face if I remember right. She was back up for sale just a few weeks later. I think she's pricey, but I did pre-order her from BBTS.

I would say to be careful that they don't try to say (in the future) that that package was for what you actually ordered.

I'm sure I'll still get my item, seller has 99% positive feedback and has been active for 5 years. And to be fair, I did just see this message:

Thanks TFitz! It seems from the comments, orders from Executive Replica's can be a bit dicey. I fully trust BBTS, looks like I'll be going with them for Sonja.

Same. I just checked my emails & it was August '21 when I preordered Sonja & Vampy. I emailed ER yesterday to make sure everything was cool, but haven't heard back yet.

I had this happen to me once a couple of years ago regarding a figure I ordered. They took my money and then sent the "free gift" to me. The gift was a giraffe eraser. It came without a note, but the eBay message told me that when the item released, they could give me tracking details "if I wanted it". Of course I did, and when the item released and I never got it I contacted them and was told "according to our tracking, you received your purchase on blah blah date."

This particular seller used the "free gift" to screw me on my purchase and eBay didn't help me because there wasn't a way for me to prove anything. Now whenever they tell me they are sending a free gift up front, I immediately request an order cancellation. Even with good feedback, I just don't trust that they haven't faked that, too.

I hope you get what you paid for! Take pictures of your packaging if you still have it, anything you might think could prove your side *just in case*. Better safe than sorry.

Yes that sounds like a scam. They send you a free gift, so there's history that they sent you something. You may never see your actual item and if you contest it, they can just say, you're lying because "see, here's the tracking and it shows that it was delivered"
