His shirt is 100% removable — I removed it pretty easily on mine.
Belt comes off, the shirt is just tucked into the loincloth, pull shirt over head.
Sadly saw on another forum someone tried the boiling water to unfreeze the bicep and it just tore right off at the peg, like the peg and bicep became just one entity.
So at this point it’s weighing potential damage or just dealing with swivel at the elbow only.

I was afraid if I stretched the shirt, the brown straps would rip. I may try it.
I'll still do the freeze try. It's worked for me in the past. If it does snap, gluing it back together is no worse than it is now; stuck in place.
Thanks for the info.

Re: mezco one:12 collective
I don't understand how a 'high end' company like Mezco can suck this bad.
Got my Conan today. Stuck ankle. Fused biceps. I got the ankle working with hot water. The biceps will not budge. In fact, I tried to heat them to the point of just popping them off so I could see what was going on and the ENTIRE [email protected]#$ shoulder popped off the shoulder disc on both sides. When I tried to use that as an opportunity to figure out what was going on.. I still couldn't. The shoulder ball and elbow seem to swivel together, like they've fused into one piece somewhere inside the bicep piece. I do not understand what's going on.
Any advice on how to fix this would be really appreciated because I am seriously at a loss. I can't even tell what could possibly be going on inside there to cause this and obviously I don't want to get too aggressive with it. I'm pretty positive I'm not going to get any help from Mezco and I want this figure, not just a refund and a 'send it back if it's broken but we don't have any more to send out' bullshit response like I got with my missing hand on the LAST Conan. Because Mezco can't just make a problem-free Conan figure, apparently.
Damn. I am just so incredibly angry and frustrated right now.

I've been hovering around hoping someone had a good suggestion but whatever, I'm just going to email Mezco and see what they have to say. Probably something useless, but I'm willing to give them a shot to make this one right since they opted to just.. not do that.. the last time I had a problem with a Conan figure they produced.
Seriously. 0 for 2, Mezco. 0 for 2.
Re: mezco one:12 collective
Thanks. I don't think I'd care this much if it were like.. Batman or something. But Conan gets SO little merchandise and fewer action figures and I can't seem to get even one good figure out of a company charging over 100 USD per figure, and that's just absolutely bonkers to me. Like.. it's unreal.supermonkey wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 3:18 amDamn dude. Sorry to hear of your troubles.

Re: mezco one:12 collective
If you’ve ordered directly from Mezco and have emailed them, then half the battle is finished.
I’ve contacted them for an issue with my exclusive Catwoman back in 2019 and they sent a replacement body after the knee snapped with literally the weakest pressure ever. They sent ANOTHER replacement since the first replacement was missing part of the lock picking kit accessory on her belt.
I’m not saying it to kiss their ass, but the following has been true for me… if you order directly from them, shoot them a quick email about the issue your figure has and they’re very likely going to remedy the issue as soon as possible. For me, the Catwoman incident wasn’t the last time they’ve remedied an issue for me, but it stuck out as the most prominent one that was fixed.
I definitely get how frustrated you are, but don’t let this get you down. Bishop and Conan both have had an issue with their biceps for some reason and I’m sure they’re hearing about it and they’re planning on making good on it. The fact that you contacted them now, which is very early after release, and let them know the issue, it just means they’re much more likely to get the issue with your figure resolved.
Between the Conan and Bishop figures, I’m assuming those figures may be coming from the same factory since the exact same issue happened to both. It may also be an issue where each figure was assembled and boxed while the plastic was still warm and it caused a sticking, possible fusing issue to take place. It absolutely sucks and the QC should have been tighter, but they are extremely likely to not leave you behind with a defective figure if you’ve ordered directly from them and raised the issue early with them.
Worst case scenario, if you ordered through a different vendor, they refer you back to that vendor for a replacement.
I’m hoping they contact you soon and they at least send a replacement body your way. Stay patient and stay hopeful since they’re likely (and rightfully) getting bombarded by complaints of these issues.

Re: mezco one:12 collective
DAmazing didn't even attempt to move Conan's right bicep on camera. I recently had success with hot water followed by ten minutes in the freezer to free up a stuck leg swivel on a Loose Collector figure. But the arm is screwed if the two pieces are fused. Last year, one of my WWE figures had the shoulder disc and shoulder fused. I cracked the torso to remove the arm. The disc and shoulder were like one solid piece when I tried to cut into it with an exacto.
My figure should be here today and it will annoy the hell out of me if I have fused arms. Yes, he has elbow swivel, but I will always have it in the back of my mind that the arm isn't moving properly.

Re: mezco one:12 collective
The right bicep on mine is tight. It seems like I can get some movement out of it but I'm not sure if it's actual, regular movement or if it's the peg twisting and getting ready to snap, so I haven't pushed my luck with it. The left bicep is fine, thankfully.

Re: mezco one:12 collective
I'll tell my story in hopes it might help:
Stuck biceps on Conan. Of course. I went into this just like I would have a Marvel Legend or the like - MISTAKE. The joints are wildly different in setup.
The shoulder joint comes down THROUGH the bicep and the elbow pin plugs in there. The bicep is a hollow tube, basically. Most of you likely know this already. I didn't.
I got his right arm out at the elbow really easily with some hot water (soaked for a little bit). The left one gave me some resistance - and I wasn't totally aware of the setup yet, so I pulled a little harder than I likely should have - nearly broke the elbow peg. Eventually, with some patience (of which I typically have little), I got the left bicep to pop off the tube. All should be good, right? But... I extended that Left elbow peg a little and it seemed certain to break. I let it sit and cool a while and eventually, gingerly, got it to pop back in the tube.
It seems fine now, but I'll forever be suspicious of that Left elbow pin. It moves freely enough, does what it should. I just don't trust it fully anymore.
Good luck y'all. Treat yours with kid hands and patience. Strip the Conqueror nekkid, and soak him in some hot water for a bit. Wiggle as much as you can, return to water. Patience.

My arm didn't budge with hot water or freezing. I think I'll just live with it.
I did take the shirt off, though, no problem.

Re: mezco one:12 collective
Received my second only Mezco figure Conan the Conqueror yesterday, and my right bicep piece was stuck to the upper shoulder piece Like most people's figure. I tried heating the plastic up with hot water microwaved in a coffee cup for a couple of minutes then gently trying to move it or pull it apart and it wouldn't budge. I could still pop the elbow out of the bicep piece so I tried pushing the elbow in and out of socket while it was still soft a hoping that would put pressure on the plastic from the inside then I would squeeze the bicep piece without the elbow in socket, did that a few times. Still stuck at this point so I then got it hot again and then immediately under cold water, back and forth a few times to get the plastic to expand and contract by temperature, still stuck. Next I tried dipping it in hot water and right into the freezer for about 40 minutes. Removed the body and then put it into warm tap water (Never try and move plastic when it's very cold, it'll crack and break the plastic like ice) I couldn't get it to move so back into hot water, then gently pulled and the bicep piece popped off the shoulder piece with a slight tug! Mine is all good now.
I think all that stuff I did over an hour and a half managed to get the pieces apart, it just takes time and patience.

Oh FedEx, I got some kind of BS, "Delivery exception
Future delivery requested". I had it sent to Walgreens like I do with every package that might need a signature or high cost POLs. All this crap with biceps almost makes me hope they send it back to Mezco. I have the first one anyways.
