Received my Predator yesterday. I've seen a lot of people complain about it, whether it's the paint for the face pieces or the height....honestly, the only thing I could have wanted was for him to be a little taller. I must have lucked out because the paint transition isn't noticeable at all on mine and it blends in perfectly. Everything else is pretty nice and all the little details, like the tools is a really nice touch! The only real problem I have is deciding which head to display as both are really nice.

The response to Predator is toy collecting in a nutshell. First rushed, washed out pics come out and everyone kills Mezco for a lackluster product. Then bloggers and photographers get it in hand and suddenly it’s the best thing ever. Preorders on BBTS go from sitting on 24 plus to sold out just like that. Toys!

On a related note, got in my Nemo Waverider add on. This thing is HUGE and insanely detailed. Not sure it’s ultimately worth the coin, but I plan on putting Nemo’s crew in the Fortnite boat when they arrive so at least my entire crew will be seaworthy.

Also also—I guess the NECROVERSE code amounted to an extra piece in the Atticus Doom expansion set. There’s a monocle patterned after his magic eyeball that’s not pictured in the initial promotions.

I'd quite like a Predator but I will only accept the P2 guy (a true bad mofo who fearlessly wades into masses of armed folks like a boss) or the hyper pro AvP2 one. I have zero respect for the original Pred, who was obviously some inept dentist on safari sniping from distance with his plasmacaster like a coward.

It's a good repeat set. But an easy variant would have been just inverting the reds and greens so it's the same but different. Stick with the one you want or mix and match between this year's and last year's.

Or hell just sell the green sweater and red shoes separately. Maybe with a pair of black slacks? Make a Rumble Society member whose whole deal is designing new outfit kits for existing figures. LIMITED EDITION TINY ASS SHOES.

Ordering Tracy from BBTS. Not sure I want to give Mezco more of my money to hold for the moment, as they're already holding my 89 Batman money...

But I love the Tracy figure so much I'm willing to get Flattop, too. I'd probably rather just have Tracy, but with the pair, I'm now on the hook if they ever make a Pruneface or the Brow...

It took 90 years, but we're finally getting the first good Dick Tracy action figure. Can't pass it up!
