Re: General NECA Talk
I don't know if I need a figure, but I will say that I think that movie's more fun than its reputation. I know the bits that upset folks, but there's a lot of fun stuff in there. They "show" an invisible man in just about all the ways you want to "see", and the appearing/disappearing sequences are a blast.

Re: General NECA Talk
Scream Factory just announced their 4K disc of The Fog, and there's going to be another NECA retro figure released alongside it, this time of the Adrienne Barbeau character. Figure not revealed yet, however.

It's going on 2 years since they first announced the Hammer license so good to finally see something. If they're being sculpted now, I suppose some kind of teaser this Halloween season is possible.

Re: General NECA Talk
I don't think NECA ever really announced the Hammer license. The license owners put out a press announcement and NECA's name was included, and they eventually sort of admitted it, but I think they would've waited until closer to having something to show to put it out there if it had been up to them.

Re: General NECA Talk
I still haven't seen the film, but I'd be down for a "Curse of the Werewolf" figure. Guillermo del Toro has said that's his favorite werewolf design, so maybe if he heard about it he could use his relationship w/NECA to talk them into producing the figure.
Then all I would need is Uncle Ted from "Bad Moon" and I'd have all my favorite werewolf designs.
Besides the obvious characters, I'd also like a Herbert Lom Phantom as well.

Hmmm, interesting point from that perspective. That would make lot of sense then why they havent shown anything.cmoney wrote: ↑Tue Jul 19, 2022 12:55 pmI don't think NECA ever really announced the Hammer license. Good to know more Puppet Master is coming. Six shooter, Leech Woman and Jester would wrap up the line nicely for me.

But in an action figure sense, I echo everyone who wants the smoking jacket version. Not only is this when he's the most diabolical and frightening, but it doesn't come with a dumb rubber nose.

I'd also be down for a Constable Jaffers. A stunningly effective patrolman despite being a comedic stereotype.

The movie is *so* good and deserves it's reputation.
