I just got the Universal Classic Monsters: The Essential Collection Blu-Rays with Target's B2G1 sale last week ($40) and the figures and movies make me progressively more excited for both.

I use that same exact kind of synergy to elevate my excitement.

My trifecta is having the original movie/animated series on Blu-Ray, the original soundtrack, and action figures.
I try to collect things in groups so it bothers me when 1 or 2 of these things don't exist. lol

My type of collector. I tend to go all in as well. Especially with music scores.

Of course then for really special characters or films, you need to add comic books, mugs, posters, etc ...

All in, indeed! lol

That set is basically who I want from this line. Except I'd rather the Lon Chaney Phantom, but whatever. :)

Very stoked for Thing…things…

Never got the SOTA Mac/dog set, so I’m definitely excited for this.

How does NECA generally do capes, plastic or soft goods?

More towards plastic, but they did Ghostface with a soft goods cloak.

Shredder's got basically soft goods, doesn't he? Pinhead's skirt too.

They usually go with cloth goods these days it seems. The various Batmen, Supermen, and Shredders have all had cloth capes. There was also the AVP Elder Predator. I'd be very surprised (and disappointed) if Dracula was given a plastic one.

yeah most of all the neca figures with capes are cloth not plastic.

edit: now thinking about it, maybe they'll do a hybrid; plastic collar with cloth cape? this way the collar won't look too off and looks proper.

I hope it's cloth, as Dracula is a character that requires a great deal of poseability with his has cape. Whether it's a neutral pose, the iconic cape over the bottom of his face, or an "I bid you welcome" pose. He needs to be able to hit them all.
