Would love to know where those wolves are coming from. Talk about filling a need in the action figure world at this scale...

Has 4H sent out emails about the last two in-stock sales? I used to get their notifications but haven't for the past few weeks, haven't seen them in my spam folder either. Wondering if I gotta resubscribe.

My issue with NECA stands is my issue with most stands. They only have a peg for one foot. If you could secure both feet on a stand with pegs, I feel like a figure would be more stable. With just one foot pegged down, the other leg can slowly drift outward.
My very first Mythic Legions figure (Asterrion) had this very problem. With only one foot (or hoof) pegged in, his legs kept spreading apart until he'd topple over. I finally sold him, because despite looking awesome, I couldn't take it any more. (I mean, I know there are various ways of tightening joints, but it's an action figure, not a car. I guess that's where I draw the line. If it requires that much work just to remain standing, then my money's probably better spent elsewhere. )

Action figure stands require support arms, imo, but good luck finding any in sufficient quantities for a decent price.

Those pics are incredible on that site!

I have no info to give about when the wolves will be offered for sale but from what I’ve been seeing it looks to be soon.

Are the wolves official from the 4 horseman or a 3rd party product.

I'm assuming an independent company is making them, because some of the figures in that display are the XesRay figures as well as some apparently customized Legions.

I love the skeleton with the He-Man hair.

The posts made on that page are in Mandarin. There's mention of showcasing the wolves in Beijing.

I'm assuming D20 Studios is a Chinese company. Or a company from another Asian country showcasing their product in China.

Agreed. I have some round plastic figure stands as well already, but like you say over time even that doesn't potentially help. A stand that has two pegs (like the G.I. Joe 1/18 line typically has) would be awesome. Those Joes lock in and don't move and I love it.

Re: the lack of double-pegged clear stands for figures-

I wonder if third-party folks might not make these available. I would bet one of these 3D print shops might create something if folks were willing to pay for them.

Also you could maybe create your own by adding a 2nd peg to the stand yourself. Drill an appropriate sized hole where you want the other peg and then insert a nail or even a plastic rod of similar thickness; lop off the top to match the length of the 1st peg.

Lastly, not sure I if it was somewhere on these forums or over on the Ark, but one fella dremmeled out the peg holes in the feet of his figs large enough to glue in small magnets. He then displayed all of his figs atop a thin piece of sheet metal. He created some wicked-sweet poses and all without any clear plastics arm stands.

Magnets would rule. Like Diaclone pilot figures have in their feet. But that's way beyond what I want to do. LOL

5Ktoys.com plans to carry the wolves. I haven't purchased anything from them though, so I can't vouch for them. Hopefully BBTS will get them too.

Re: 5Ktoys

I purchased from them the then in-stock 1st wave of Xesray gladiators back in November.

Purchase was made Nov 5th
Order fulfilled on the 9th
Received the figs on the 19th via USPS

Figs were packed well as I recall. All arrived in good order.

I pre-ordered the 2nd wave from Xesray through 5Ktoys later that month. I put down a $25 deposit on a credit card; the balance is to be charged once the order is fulfilled.

For my part, and obviously limited experience, I’d definitely recommend 5Ktoys.

I’ll be checking in on their site more frequently now looking to nab a wolf or two from D20 Studio depending on final cost.
