Thanks for the compliments, good to hear it is inspiring for others!
The use of real fabric is very rewarding - it is hard to get a similar effect using sculpy.
The helmet (not a hat indeed) is a bit silly and I am in doubt too: I started liking Orcs in the old Warhammer days when they were more silly than terrifying. In the background of LOTR from PJ you can see they have created silly orcs as well, sometimes in likeness of the ones I painted when I was 20.

Anyway, more are coming.

Here is a group shot of how they displayed now. When all are done and I find the right outdoor spot, I will do some scenic pics.

Mordor Orc axeman, custom and repaint of the Mordor Orc figure from the first releases.

Thanks for the comment, good to hear you guys like it.

I took away the plastic fur-skirt and replaced it with a real one. That needed repainting, for the skirt was the colour of the skin. There is a silly thing with the knee with this figure - it sticks upward like it was meant to be a piece of armour. So I removed that. I also removed the tongue. Orcs are very tough with that. :D Since it was the same one as I did before, I placed them together.

I love how you mix in different media like hair and fur and cloth into the orc figures. It adds a nice depth. Your painting is top notch and the dioramas you made are killer. Tree Beard's beard is especially cool. That takes the sculpt to the next level.

Hey Matthew,
Thanks for the comments. Good to hear how the way I make them is appreciated.
Treebeard got me into this collection, so he definitely earns the credit.
Cheers,

Gandalf vs the Balrog on the bridge of Khazad-Dûm.
This is a further working out of the diorama display of Gandalf challenging the Neca Balrog.
The set fits tightly on my shelf, crammed between cupboard and celing. To show more of it, I made scenic pics within a big blanket. The sword lights up because of the paint, nothing photoshop.
I fitted in the soundbase with the roaring: YOU SHALL NO PASS! Amazing how much noise comes out of such a small thing... I phantasized about making it our doorbell :D

The sword is made of mdf wood. That took a lot of dremelling and sanding, but it pays of!

Cool diorama! Really clever way to incorporate the Gandalf base into the bridge for the display! Also, Balrog! I want one so badly....
