I have the 7 (ish) inch metal Disney Exclusive Storm Trooper from a few years back. I'll gladly update.

Stormtrooper is officially $35 on the disney store site, so not a park mark-up like we hoped

Damn, that’s a 33% increase. At $24.99 I would have bought two, at $35 and shipping I’m waiting for a sale.

It’s a bummer the Disney Store in the mall closed too.

$35 is disappointing but expected.

I’ll play the long game here.

Damn.. I love the way figure looks, but I guess it has to be time to draw the line. If $35 is going to be the standard going forward for a basic Diamond Select Star Wars figure, It looks like I'll have to live without them.

I just pray that price point doesn't creep it's way into the LOTR line too!

As always I love the blast effect with these (and the extra hands!). And MSWord, I love the new packaging. Will this also trickle down to the Marvel line?
I do not believe we have plans to take the Marvel line out of Select packaging.

40%, I think.

I'm still on board for buying probably 2-3 troopers. They look stellar. They come with just about as much gear as the $55 Super7 TMNT Ultimates I've convinced myself to buy. But will I pony up for a $35 C3P0, Greedo, Endor Luke or Lando? Less likely. Jumping from $25 changes my collector calculus. At $35 it's only gonna be the big time personal favorites like Vader for me. Maybe they were just gonna do the All Stars anyways?

Who knows, though. If MS comic Taskmaster is any indication, Disney can jump a figure to $35 and then the very next release bring it back down to $30.

I already got tracking for the two Stormtroopers I ordered. $35 each is harsh for sure.

EVERY TIME I order something from the Disney store, they have free shipping a few days later. So I'm going to try to hold off and see if they offer it soon. I really want this line to succeed.

I’m in the same boat! I always feel like the free shipping thing always happens after I order. Happened with Sam Cap earlier in the year

They had a "free ship, no minimum" deal last week. Hopefully another will return for black friday or sooner.

I had a Trooper, a Maul, and an MS Taskmaster in my cart but was a few dollars short of free shipping. So I added another Maul for customs and got past the $75 threshold. This allowed me to rationalize that the Maul cost even less money because it had subtracted the shipping costs, so really it's like having a Maul for $8. Funny how your irrational mind takes over when convincing yourself that you need shiny new things

It's an awkward review in places, but there's finally something up on youtube to show articulation in motion:

I like the hip range, and I'm more than fine with the shoulder armor coming off when necessary if it means clearing the bulky chest armor when T-posing. Not really seeing any major issues whatsoever. All in all I can't wait for mine to hopefully show up this week. UPS has it scheduled for Thursday.
