I agree! The only other figure I'm as excited for is the Wookie Bounty Hunter from BOBF, but only "if" he turns out well. I think Wicket looks fantastic. I have been clamoring for more Ewoks for years. And though I'm happy with my little collection of three, I really want more.

The carbonized Porg will be available a few months after the BAF has been out, but to be honest a rerelease holidayized Porg may coincide with the carbonized as well.
Gratefully, the holiday release should be out just after the holidays.

What about the Gaming Greats Porg, that has a slightly different paint app and different blaster for $5 extra?

Got shipping notices for Wicket and Mara Jade from Pulse. Of course they ship as I'm about to head overseas for a week and a half, but it'll be nice to have them when I'm back. So it sounds like the next wave with Mon, Luthen, Bix, etc. is out in Europe? I'm heading to London for Star Wars Celebration and would love to be able to pick something up while I'm there.

I don’t want to even think about the Gaming Greats Porg. There is a squad of them all with slight variations. Preordering is going to be a nightmare. . .

I haven’t picked up Aphra or the repaint Mara Jade (which came first?). Considering using the Mara Jade (the prettier red) head for the new GIJoe Classified Cover Girl. Aphra seems interesting enough to keep intact.

UPDATE: just ordered Aphra from Hasbro Pulse since it was available.

More differences than you’d think. But if you’re a big fan of that look I can highly recommend the SHF version, it’s a great figure.

I got Aphra and Mara Jade in from Pulse today. Great figures. Even though I open my figures and get rid of the boxes, I did hate to see how the comic figures also have the "no plastic window" feature. I don't know why, but I thought that wouldn't go away for these comic book figures. It sucks to open the little comic book front page flap, to only reveal an image of the figure, and not be able to see the actual figure through a clear window.

I was wondering if there was a good replacement for Mara Jades blaster to more resemble the gun she actually uses? I was looking through casting cave and gun runners, and I actually didn't see anything. I did however notice while looking through pics of what her gun looks like that the one that came with the comic pack of her and Luke, where she is in the purple outfit, has a gun that is actually quite large for a 3 3/4 figure. I think I may dig mine out of the bin shes in and see what it looks like with the new figure since it looks rather large for the small figure. I'll eventually be ordering her a new lightsaber off replacement sabers, I need to buy 2 Palpatine sabers anyway so it'll save me on shipping. Probably end up buying a Leia one as well and get free shipping for only a couple bucks more. Its annoying that they couldn't even be bothered to mold her proper lightsaber, when practically everything else is reuse.

I also think I may grab a new Han from RotJ in the vintage card since he looks to be one of the, if not *the* best, Han they've ever done. And, poor Lando. I already saw 3 of him hanging out on the pegs at Target. I mean, I get why, since he was released not so long ago in 2 other packages. Just another one of Hasbros weird ass decisions.

I thought the same when I opened my Mara Jade today. Open a door to a wall. I let out an audible huff. I remember the Yavin Luke that was presented in this packaging had an opening with no window, which is what I expected from this figure, but I was always concerned that accessories would get easily stolen from that open front. I guess it makes as much sense as all of the rest of the windowless packaging, but yeah, it was kinda dumb.

Mara is an awesome figure though. Kinda wish the goggles were a separate piece from the hood/scarf. Smart reuse of Jaina Solo.

I'm sorry, I am kind of newish to the Star Wars section on this forum so idk if this is the right thread to post this, but I would really enjoy some High Republic characters from the comics and books. Have we heard any rumours on any of these characters?

I dug out the pistol for Mara today. It's the same size as the one she came with so I'm thinking it'll work. I vaguely remember thinking it was way too big for the figure it came with back when it was released. So now I have her gun. Just need the lightsaber which I'll probably order soon. I had to mod the holster a bit to accommodate the new gun, it's actually thicker, then the old one. You also have to finangle it in her hand a bit, but once you get it in she holds it fine.

But no matter what, you'll have a much better chance of getting High Republic figures starting next year and moving forward. Next year on Disney+ the show "The Acolyte" comes out. And it is set in the High Republic era. With a show out on Disney+, they may not only let figures out of the Acolyte, but they may take the chance to let out characters from the comics since there is a TV Show to help boost interest and sales in the era.
