I wouldn't be so interested in a deluxe ESB Boba after the issues with Jedi and as I still think the original is pretty excellent, I would be interested in a Jango deluxe though. Both Jetpacks, poncho, improved ROM in the arms, an actually decent grapple line even if it is its solid and just to pose, jet sfx pieces, flamethrower effect, blaster and jetpack missile effects, Kamino saberdart, removable helmet as before.., maybe the Slave 1 headset like the saga figure, he'd be pretty cool done right (though I'm very happy with the gaming greats for now).

Someone made a very good point about AOTC actually being missing from the Lucasfilm 50th lineup so far, I can only really think of three figures that are easy repaints we don't have yet (dull C-3PO, AOTC Dooku (as while the difference is monumentally small, his outfit was slightly brighter apparently in Clones versus the one we got which matches Sith better.., feels ridiculous yet such a very Hasbro thing to do), and photoreal Jango with the Geonosis Jetpack, hardly exciting stuff though..).

Highly unlikely, but I'd love, rather than any of those, just one new figure in a regular wave, someone like Zam Wesell, a Super Battle Droid or Lama Su. We've had a few ROTS figures announced now but if they wanted one more cheap and easy, a regular Phase 2 trooper on the new body would fly of the shelves, just put him in a regular wave this time...

I would like a Zam, yeah. She is the only non-Jedi from AOTC on my list.

And we have the parts for an Airborne trooper... when is that Walmart exclusive coming?

I suspect Hasbro is both dealing with inflation as it hits them, and also using the inflation excuse to test some price increases in some places.

All the complaints in the world won't make a difference. What will is Hasbro clocking a decrease in unit sell through on items like these weak-ass Walmart exclusives.

But even then, they might not be able to tell that price was the factor.

Has there been any word from Hasbro or any of the rumor specialists about the 212th/Walgreens situation?

Someone mentioned somewhere (i know, i know) that the 212th clone trooper might not be put up until after the sitewide 20% off sale, ending the 20th.

Nothing yet to my knowledge. Hopefully the figure goes up Monday, but who knows. I'd say whenever their website sales are over it will go up. But at what time?? It's anyone's guess.

keep checking here and on yakfaceforums.com

I'd say those are your best bets at seeing an update or report the figure has gone up for pre order.

Not sure if this was mentioned elsewhere, but I've seen RotJ Boba Fett at like 4 different Walmarts this week.

An army builder that's not an exclusive and overpriced? Surely you jest.

The deluxe Boba is just a base body of fatigues with a chest overlay and separate pieces for his belt and codpiece. And even if it wasn't accurate they could just reuse the parts they want and repaint the rest with a little bit of new for the chest and helmet. The helmet is even removable, technically, from the grey blank Morrison head underneath. I haven't taken off all the extra bits to see the body underneath, but its definitely not as wide as the chest overlay. It could be the same as the CW Obi wan for all I know. Which, also, isn't accurate anyway. And uses a bunch of clone reuse. So I'm not sure accuracy is their main concern unfortunately. I am just so disappointed with that Fett...

So, I don't know if it's happening now, but, my Dad is a truck driver, and in one of his travels he heard a bit of info on plastics, and why the cost may be going up. Apparently, during the Pandemic the plastic factories all had to shut down to about 10% productivity. And they apparently lost alot of money. And now, to go back up to 100% they have to have detailed thorough inspections to make sure everything is up to snuff, probably for safety and productivity purposes. And they have to spend more money on these inspections. And since they lost a ton during the pandemic, they're supposedly going to up the price of plastic to make up for what they lost and also pay for their inspections. Which wouldn't surprise me. So if the prices go up even further, Hasbro may not be completely to blame. At least if it's all across the board, like with more then just a couple lines as well as other companys.

I'm not saying that justifies the price of Rex. But it may be a small contributor to the general increase to $22 or $23 new retail for basic figures.

There may be an increase in cost of production, but shifting that cost increase onto the consumer is going to push a lot of people away. I've not heard of many people getting big hourly wage increases. Essentials are going to take priority. When food costs start eating more into peoples budget, Hasbro's price hike on already rather expensive toys is not going to sit well. Especially when the shelves start filling up with different colors of things they already own.

I stopped by Target today and saw two of Clone Wars Hawk on the pegs. I guess they got some more in that morning because I stopped by there on Friday and nothing.

I saw a rather good video on YouTube explaining the reason behind a lot of shortages and it's worth a watch.

Looking at Diamond Comics release schedule this week I saw this Heir to the Empire Luke figure. First time I noticed it. Thought I'd post the link in case someone is interested. Basically a Luke repaint with a little lizard.

I nabbed a Bo Katan at a local Target last week, and had Besgar Mando and deluxe Boba Fett delivered from Amazon yesterday.

For not being a huge SW collector right now, patience can sometimes pay off.

Star Wars Black 6 inch General Discussion

I want to get a Jawa, and the Offworld one seems like the best of the three options to me, but I’m not sure. I wish we had one with the brown robe and yellow eyes from the Kenner one, but the better articulation of the Offworld one. The original Jawa has the traffic cone robe and the red robe throws me off. Plus, the few paint apps on the newer ones seem much better.

Decisions, decisions…

Of course, I’m sure Hasbro will eventually release the Offworld one with the gray robe in brown, and the eyes in yellow and I’ll feel silly.
