You specifically asked about the jail cells, they're from Walmart at Christmas, they came with a stuffed animal reindeer in them that played music.

Marvel Street: Custom Civilians,
This is the last of them, for now.
It's like they're breeding or something.

Marvel Street Park: Test Shots
I tore down the graveyard to build a park. I've wanted to do this for quite some, there are more scenes to do in a park than a graveyard.

Amazing custom citizens! Those head swaps are very effective - I would not think to use a long haired bearded LOTR (or is it GOT?) head on a Buffy buddy. Looks really cool.

As for the park, - reminds me of the movie Poltergeist - "you moved the headstones, but left the bodies!" Zombies and skeletons rising from the ground for Halloween?

Thanks Mr. Articulate.

The initial idea for this project was to make as many individual characters that I could think of. I'm just trying to make the street look as busy as possible. I've wanted to do many of these customs for quite some time, unfortunately as far as civilian characters go, the best figures to use for 6" scale are the Buffy and Angel lines. The problem is that there are only about 17 different characters to choose from, so I really had to get a little crazy to come up with different heads. The LOTR figures are working well but, I think I may have run out of options there, Too many of the male characters have long hair and there are only 3 females in the line.
I also want to have a wider range of ethnicity on the street, I may have to look at some more Wrestling figures for that.
I've wanted to make Marvel Movie characters for a long time now, I just could never bring myself to boil and pop the heads off my favorite characters.
So for now, I can only steal a head if I have doubles of the figure.
Still a lot more to do but, it's been a fun project so far.
Doubles of the following movie figures to use.
Bobby Drake
Storm
Thor
Sandman
Johnny Storm
I can't think of anyone else, if any of you have any ideas for head swaps, let me know.
Just movie characters or more realistic looking figures, though.
Thanks.

As Mr. Articulate said, great custom citizens. I've been collecting various citizens myself, but not planning to swap out heads. I'm just planning to use them as background bystanders.

JLA Watchtower Diorama: Going in to the final phases of this project...finally. I've had so many setbacks with this piece you'd think it was cursed.

I used to think that way to my friend.
Overtime my outlook changed as I realized how much space there is to fill on the table.
In between Marvel battles everyday life goes on in and around Marvel Street, I usually stand everyone up so it looks like they are walking around, talking to each other etc.
This gives me time to think about what my next crowd scene can be.
This time I would like to do a Police / Military Barricade, with all the civilians standing behind them, like they're being protected or maybe a riot scene, that would be cool.
I've done this kind of stuff before though, it's hard to come up with fresh stuff, only so many different things can happen.
I've had some big ideas that have never come to fruition
Plane crash using one of the Bratz jet planes repainted.
Darkseid Invasion, using the huge GI JOE Mobile Fortress from the first movie. I want to sit Apocalypse on top of it in a throne, build a huge ass cannon on the front. Then have all my Doomsday figures pulling it, I have 9 now, Parademons flying around and on the sides of it. As if the entire little army just came out of a boom tube. One Day.
I've also thought about giving the street to my Marvel Movie figures, I pretty much own them all, I miss seeing them.
We'll see.

I can't believe how good some of your ideas are! Read the whole thread last night and it's awesome. Hoping you'll make a more complex LOTR diorama to fove me some ideas though...

Thanks.
I'm sorry man, the real space on the Sci-Fi side is allotted for Star Wars.
I wish I had room for a nice LOTR dio.
