My dad was a great guy.
He lived to be 93 too, so hopefully that longevity will be passed on.
Sorry to hear that x-66. Wow, 93!

The cinema diorama you have put together is really amazing!

Thank you Artistix, it has really taken a toll on my creativity, I tried to get back on the horse but I just never seem to make the time for building anymore.

When I'm ready I'll be ready, maybe I was kidding myself last week.

Thank you for the compliments Steveaustin81 and Mr Articulate.
The wall is actually about 5 years old I've used it quite a bit usually in the background though.
The small space I used for this picture is in between the theatre and old Ghostbusters firehouse.
Here is the full shot, I just wanted to put something together because I was excited about the figures.
Image
As you can see, by this picture, things are still in a large state of disarray.
The cityscape backdrop has to be raised up and I have to build roughly 8 feet of sidewalk before anymore progress can be made on Marvel Street.
Someday I'll get back to it.

Thank you very much, again, for the compliments.
I have many plans for Marvel Street and in 2 weeks I have some vacation time so I'm looking forward to getting shit done.
Lately I have been incredibly fascinated by my Transformers figures and have bought a shit load of stuff.
OS KO Megatron (I recieve that on Monday for my Birthday)
OS KO Optimus Prime, OS KO Hound, bought those myself.
Coming in the mail from China are another OS KO Hound
and the OS KO Grimlock.
I'm pretty excited about all this I guess I don't show off my Transformers too much so here is a shot of my Autobot Human Alliance scale figures.
Just in case you don't know, not sure how many Transformers fans there are who look at my collection,
OS KO is short for Oversized Knock Off.
To give you an idea of their scale the Optimus Prime in the Picture below is about 20 inches tall.
The original leader class that this is based on only stands 10 inches tall.
Image
I feel that they are nicely suited for the Human Alliance Scale which is around 1:45, Transformers Deluxe movie figures are around 1:35
Here is another pic with a pop can in it for scale.
Image
And here is a picture of the 2 different sizes of AOE Hound the smaller one is Hasbro's and the larger one is a Knock Off from Sirtoys in China.
Image
I was always leary about buying bootleg stuff but the quality on everything I have purchased so far is second to none.

Below is a picture of every Optimus Prime figure, from the first 3 movies, that I own.
Image
and here are all the AOE versions I own.
Image
I have accessories, not shown, like his Shield and battle axe.
Right now, coming from BBTS are the Silver Transforming Trailer and Jet-Wing upgrade kit.
Now I'll have somewhere to display all of Optimus' weapons when I get that trailer.

Ok so here is the last couple of updates to the Transformers figures.

Decepticons Deluxe Class. Well, some aren't exactly Deluxe class but they are close enough for me.

And now for something that has made me very happy.
A couple of years ago I started working on the Sci-Fi side of the basement and kind of reached a stalemate as far as being able to finish it.
I was on vacation the last week and was able to get quite a bit accomplished the pictures below go from the left side of the room to the right. There are also shots of some of the individual shelves as well.

Transformers-the ones on the table are just extras and doubles.
Image

To the right of Transformers are the LOTR and Jurassic Park shelves.
Image

To the right of those are the Alien/Predator and Star Trek shelves.
Image

Below are some pictures of individual shelves etc. Some you've seen before but the Star trek shelves are new.

LOTR

Jurassic Park

Predator-one of each character

Aliens/Predator

And i finally got the Star Trek shelves up and running.

Started working on Marvel Street again, just finished the sidewalk expansion.
All the sidewalk squares at the back are custom built by me out of foamboard, most of the ones at the front are from DC Direct, except the for the ones with the grates in them for the trees to grow out of, I made those to.
Things are still a little crooked, this is because I haven't taped any of them down yet, and every time I move one it throws the rest out of place.

Man, oh man! I love your work! What a treat these pictures are! Love the new trash cans - I'm guessing the top and bottom come from a soda bottle or some garden supply with plastic mesh holding it together.

And that shot of Gandalf as homeless guy - hilarious.

And the street shot shows so much detail. Glad to see the overpass is still there.
