Anybody have any insight or experience with these? Just happened upon a few unopened packs and have never seen them before.

They’re stickers to decorate your $300 HISS tank with.

Just kidding. You don’t want to do that. Seriously. Don’t.

They're mostly a mix of card art and scenes from the cartoon. The stickers from what I remember had designs that were almost like peel on tattoos. They had different images from the toys and cartoon.

I bought some in a drug store as a kid. The backs have the filecard write ups. They also had a Transformers trading card line very similar using the toy boxart.

If these were re-released, I'd for sure want to buy a bunch.

Considering the new characters created since the original o-rings, they should restart this trading card line with filecard writeups on the back.

I watched a youtube vid of Articulated Points where they did a pretty exhaustive presentation of past GI Joe trading cards.

One thing I didn't see in that episode was what I thought were separate file cards for each language where the cards looked like baseball card size and came with newer figures.

Not too far from where I live was a small town that had a K-Mart well after most had closed in Canada. This store was the one that time forgot! They had things decades after they were released. I think they closed in 1998, and I remember still at the end being able to find black and white t.v.'s in the electronics, the toy biz DC Superheroes Lex Luthor, and Bob the goon. There was a Masters of the Universe weapons pack. Several types of G.I. Joe weapons/gear packs, as well as these cards. Through the years I had brought some friends who did collect figures and etc, and they had bought some interesting finds. One of them bought each Joe weapons /gear pack. I wasn't collecting much then, so I bought the cards for something like $1.25 Canadian as a laugh. I remember the weapon packs had been marked as $2.75, and the price-tags looked like they were there since they got in the store.
Unfortunately I plastered a bunch of these on my music gear and their cases, and they have long since died. I remember mostly getting stuff from box art, or maybe just using them on my gear and cases because they looked the coolest? I figured the rest would be somewhere because I thought i put them away, but I haven't seen them in years.

Man I would've been all over this as a kid. Even after I quit collecting the action figures, I still admired the packaging art of the toys. Hell, I'd probably buy these today if it was guaranteed that they would make cards for every character and vehicle ever produced.

Now that I think about it, I think some came as cards and some were stickers, with the predominant being cards. I think i ended up using all my stickers, and probably lost my cards.
