My Cobra shelf has a black, brown, and blue motif with the leadership in black, soldiers in blue and black, and the mercs like Firefly and Zartan and Bludd in shades of grey and brown.
It's interesting to consider that the new stuff Hasbro puts out keeps going up in price so how long before just buying the original release figures still in box ends up about on price par with whatever new stuff they're gouging us on.
I'm not a very big fan of the Viper Officer either as he doesn't really look that much like an officer to me so much a Python Patrol-like variant. And not sure I want to bother mixing lighter and darker blue Vipers together so much as just pick a color and stick to it for uniformity sake.
I would really like to see a Crimson Strike Team set.
Set A: Crimson Baroness and Crimson Twins (crimson repaint of Tomax/Xamot
Set B: Crimson Vipers and Crimson Viper Officer
Set C: Crimson Trooper/Infantry and Crimson Officer

Gotta get a crimson hooded Cobra Commander in there as well somewhere.
I think I would personally prefer a two-pack of the regular viper. I don't think I need multiple officers. I am very curious to see what accessories these guys come with. The way they were talking about it made it seem like it was some cool stuff.
Nothing beats the classic Crimson Guard look, to me; they had such a cool uniform; the later Crimson Guard Commanders and Immortals and such moved too much into "battlefield" looks for them, to me.
Totally agree about those CG figures. The red uniform with a matching backpack and that gun with the bayonet were so cool.
I'll end up with two of these 3-packs because I only ever found one of the Target Vipers.
