I really want several more... but am hopeful that the fact there are 6 of them sitting at my local Target currently means I may be able to buy the extras a little cheaper. If I can get him for the same $11.37 I was able to get Recondo I'll buy the lot of them.

G.I. Joe Classified Series

The fact they get solid cases of each figure and Python Patrol (and to a lesser extent Tiger Force) being a bit “meh” in design/importance probably doesn’t help. Paint variations as exclusives seem like a good idea (I suggested it back when Cobra Island first hit) but it’s also just less desirable product.

For Target’s next theme, I think Crimson versions for Cobra would make sense. I know there’s a rumor of convention exclusive crimson Cobra figures, but they’d make good store exclusives. And red obviously aligns with Target well.

Also, how about environmental versions of characters as store exclusives. Something I liked about Pursuit of Cobra was having environmental versions of main characters. Something like Snow Job repainted, with less accessories, and Duke’s head as Arctic Duke. Could be a cool way of expanding teams for different types of missions.

Does the Tiger Force Bazooka neck peg seem unusually large? I could have swore the Flint neck peg was too small and many Marvel Legends heads were too loose on it.

I like all the Cobra repaints but if they keep putting them on clearance so quickly, more and more people are going to wait for sales or return them. The "when it rains, it pours" release schedule and Target's "clearance it within a month" mindset aren't doing the subline any favors. It's really obnoxious to see the same movie figures on the shelf for two years now but Outback is clearanced and gone in two months. He's a fantastic figure and like all of the Target classified figures deserves to at least be available for 3 months.

One Walmart here still has absolutely zero GI Joe anything after clearancing Retro ARAH Lady Jaye and Baroness and Croc Master. Didn't see any GI Joe on the planograms.

Target should just start giving away the Snake Eyes Origins figures to anyone buying a GI Joe Classified figure. They've clogged the pegs for far too long.

So, images just dropped confirming the Tiger Force Dusty figure as an upcoming Target Exclusive, #65 in the line. He will be paired with Python Patrol Crimson Guard at Target - I suppose soon-ish...
He looks OK. Had he come out first I may have picked him up to grow my TF unit, but I am trying not to get multiple versions of the same character in this line, for the sake of money and space. Had they made some fixes to that not-so-good helmet, it may have swayed me, but judging from the pic, it looks the same. I'm basically getting whatever version of the character hits first, so I'm probably skipping "regular" Outback, Bazooka, and Recondo. And probably the inevitable TF Roadblock.

Can anyone think of a Character who would use the Outback upper torso and arms, but larger? I want the size of Slaughter but the the shirt and sleeves of Outback for a custom figure. Any ideas of a character on Hasbro's radar that might fit the bill?

Oh man that shirt of Salvo’s always had me playing him as a major douchebag, like the “alpha male” jackass the rest of the team makes fun of.
He’s a total must-have and seems like an obvious choice for a “figure with pet” slot with his ginormous launcher.

lmao yes, "the right of might" while being pinned down by a bunch of non-sentient BAT androids sounds hilarious

maybe a comic panel with him going, "well, I guess you guys are right!" as he's being torn apart by lifeless machines
