First:

Lenny mentioned in the video that they plan to keep mining the entire continuity of Joe for figures in Classified. The heavy focus will still be ARAH, but where they feel it works there will be others from different eras/media. Personally I am glad for that. I want my ARAH for the most part, but throwing in a couple nods here and there works well. That being said I NEED a GI JOE and GI JANE!!! Make it so Lenny!!!!

Second:

WOO-HOO for the Green shirt troop builder pack. Also I love the "Land & Sky" hint from Lenny Does that mean we may finally get a Jet Pack in Classified?? Helix, while a nice addition, isn't a big want of mine. However I'm sure they'll knock it out of the park like almost all of Classified so far (excluding some of wave 1).

Helix is joining Shadow Tracker for the more modern Joes? That’s awesome!

Now I’m not playing Devil’s advocate here but a Classified Helix is going to look a lot like Valaverse’s ladies from wave three.



I welcome her. I have her 4” figure in the display with my other Joes. Shadow Tracker joins my Python Patrol Croc Squad for sure when he comes. Another of the 4” modern Joes I display with my 6” Joes.

Crimson Asp is a another character they could make from reused pieces with a few new pieces. The Wraith would be an interesting figure too. I have a 4” Wraith but don’t remember Asp being offered outside an exclusive or something.

I'm not familiar with the character, I have yet to read any Joe comics beyond the Marvel stuff, which I read and collected religiously as a kid, but this line is so damn good I'm planning on getting almost every unique character they release from here to eternity. I trust the ever-loving hell out of the Classified team, so I'm sure I'll love her and the Greenshirts. I've loved every single figure I've acquired in the line thus far, and I see no reason that will change anytime soon.

The only characters in Classified I haven't picked up are the deluxe/exclusives like Mindbender and Serpentor (but I'm sure they will get single releases in the future which I will absolutely buy) and the Viper 3-pack, because I'm not interested in army building. I've also skipped some of the variants, although Python Patrol and Tiger Force have got me by the gonads. Can't wait to get some more pre-orders in!

I only know the bare minimum about Helix but I picked her up in the 3.75 scale line because there's never been enough female characters overall and thought she looked cool. Definitely will pick her up for this line, too. (Zartan's daughter Zanya is from that era too, right? I'd pick her up as well.)

Greenshirts is a cool idea and glad they're doing it. I just hope that they allow us to buy the number of sets that allows us to use any alternate heads they offer if they do that. When they did the SHIELD army builder for Legends there were six configurations of heads but a two-set limit. I picked up an extra set of blue ninjas to use both sets of masks; would happily do that with greenshirts too.

I'm not interested in generic Joe greenshirts, but I am into the idea of an equipment pack. If it has a bunch of rando gear I could be talked into it.

And maybe the greenshirt figure itself would make a good Selfie Series bod.

I saw on FB someone trying to trade a CI Cobra Trooper for a wave 1 Duke. I thought that was strange, checked ebay. Sure enough, wave 1 Duke has blown up in price. I wonder what happened.

I don’t know who Helix is either but any new female Joe is welcome. Finally the green shirts have arrived. I’ve always loved the “green army men” look so I’m curious how these turn out. Hopefully they have alternate heads and a female green shirt as well. Also maybe the base visit can easily be retooled for more O13 members.
