Got my Viper 3 pack yesterday. Gonna open it later on after work. Glad I waited it out because that normal price just did not sit right with me. Hopefully more sales are coming.

I think monocles are just generally considered an affectation - something normal people don't do anymore - so it's just part of the "weird" package but not, itself, implying anything more specific.

Also, the ongoing joke of upper crust/wealthy types wearing monocles, meaning Mindbender isn't down to earth or in touch with more common folks which...well, duh, he's literally a mad scientist.

Sarge finally showed up from Hasbro Pulse today - despite me ordering him the second he went live for sale on Hasbro's site. Mindbender still hasn't been shipped at all. I got in on the second round for Serpentor so I expected to wait for him but am kind of surprised how long Hasbo is taking with the other two. The tiny Sarge minifigure is pretty fun in hand though.

Can anyone with Mindbender confirm if his cape has the silver Cobra logo on the back? The pics I've seen aren't clear.
Always liked that about the V1 version. Silver Cobra logo on black velvet just works for me. Ha!

I haven't really looked at Mindbender's package but I slit the tape on Serpentor's box, slid out a tray.
Looks like a similar design.
