I just got billed for the Fortnite Snake Eyes. It exists! Looks like I originally ordered it on July 15 so now I guess we'll see if they deliver before the one-year mark.

I did see some boxed shots of this a few weeks ago and it looks quite a bit less cool than the original promo shots. It's basically just the v1 Snake Eyes with Fortnite Accessories. The mockups gave him matte paint to set him apart. It's a shame they ditched that idea.

They must be saving a matte look for a retro release or something. Which will be great because, aesthetics aside, I just prefer the feel of matte plastic. Pretty soon our Snake Eyes collections will start looking like Iron Man "Hall of Armor" displays and I'm OK with that!

Moral of the story, never trust Hasbro's renders.

Looks like it was originally around $180-$200 on release, but has since gone up.

I'm fine with Fiona & CM for their price.

Got shipping notice for the Fortnite Snake Eyes, which I swear I mostly ordered originally because I was like "I bet I'll like getting a random new Snake Eyes whenever this guy ships." Of course he's shipping alongside the SS/Spirit wave so I'll get a mini-haul all at once, but still curious to see what this guy looks like in hand. Can never have too many Snake Eyes, I guess.

And the shuriken extra hand he comes with is relatively scarce, afaik it has only come with 00 SE and the upcoming 52 SE+Timber pack, so that's a nice piece for kitbashing or loaning out to the standard release SE.

I got Fortnite Snakes-Eyes today. His delivery probably would've been more appreciated if he arrived during a slower period, like in January. I thought about canceling before he shipped because I wasn't super excited about another Snake-Eyes and I wish I was warned about the molded gun/holster and knife/sheath. If I was prepared ahead of time, I might not have thrown the figure out the window.


Is this why it's 6 months late. I was able to remove movie Deadpool's guns, but I don't think these are removable.
